    During our family trip to Iceland my brother and I had the pleasure of working out here. Such a surreal experience to walk in and see the world record deadlift bar just hanging on the wall. Also had a lot of fun just attempting to lift the strong man equipment and not making it budge at all.

    *I do not want to die before at least training once in this legendary training facility.* In my opinion, Thor's Power Gym in Iceland is not only a cultural heritage and national treasure of Iceland but to all of us around the whole world, specially if you are a fan of Strength and Muscles. Absolute beginner to Hafthor Julius Bjornsson himself, you find everything you need here: Strongman, Powerlifting, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, Armwrestling, Crossfit, or general health and wellbeing: whatever your goal is, this is a true world class option for you. Also, if you ever had the chance to visit this legendary place, do not miss the *Thor's Power Store!*

    That’s an amazing gym - no BS, no silly body building machines, no crappy ‘revolutionary’ gadgets, just proper heavy old school equipment. Love it! Compare that with Eddie Hall’s BS gym - whoever sold him all that gear saw the word MUG written all over his face!

    An Icelandic using pounds in Iceland? What?

  • @Nirsterkur

    @Nirsterkur

    The Rogue USA Dumbbell set (going upto 150 pounders in 5lb increments) was one of the earliest set of equipment in Thor's Power Gym, and they are the only stuff in pounds. Everything else are in kilograms. There's also a lb to kg conversion chart displayed near the Dumbbell rack for easy reference.

    No but it sure does help hahaha. Especially for people coming over from another gym and having to use a calculator to figure out what dumbbells to use. Plus the weights not being the same increments since it's calibrated for pounds. Just odd to buy the lbs one when everything else in the gym is calibrated KG plates haha.@@sirjenkins7442
