Im on silver too, few days ago I got a match against 3 cheaters, two of them were just with walls, but the soldier was rage hacking both aim and walls. i called him out after some time and he admitted to be cheating, he said "its aimhacks, baby". We won the game but it was sad that his team was pocketing him and all that shit. cheaters in silver are more common than people think it is, and thats messed

Honestly if I was stuck in silver and couldn’t get out and it bothered me that bad, I’d have two options: Spend time getting better at the game or stop trying and play something else. Overwatch is a difficult game there’s no shame in admitting you can’t climb

A Lot of the cheaters are on pc the last few years

Even if the enemy team didn't pick up on the cheating they at least were smart enough to recognize the widow was the threat

I don't understand why these players play so damn safe. If I was a hitscan with aimbot you best believe I'd be going for the deepest flanks known to man. Especially on widow, one good flank and you've killed 3 before they even find where you are.

it can be any button, why they put it on melee is because they are dumb. i remember seeing a video form like 2018 where a guy talked about his cheats in cod and that is what they said back then

I had a widow hit multiple head shots killing the whole team and head shot me out of sombra while invisible and knew exactly where people were it was quick play and I wasn’t surprised when I saw the play of the game and you saw them shooting a little after every kill to tone down the Accuracy

Before watching this, my theory is that because he was so blatant he actually tricked the enemy team into playing better by targeting the carry

Ik they have ban waves to combat hack dev detection methods, but at the same time if someone is rage hacking like this... It doesn't take a genius or new detection methods to find this guy out, just ban him and cleanse the game of another cheater. Reserve the ban waves for closets that actually remain hidden from reports

This cheater was so bad that I think he only got to silver because of the cheats.

Genuine Question, is the Defense Matrix anticheat even on right now? This has been going on for quite a while, and nothing has happened. I can't think of any other reason. Even for ban waves, they should have done it at the start of the season, at the latest. It's so crazy to me that someone can hard cheat without it seemingly able to be picked up.

I’ve seen cheaters like this. They usually have their cheats cranked up, but play passively so they don’t use it much. It helps them closet while rage hacking at the same time.

dude it’s so bad in these lower ranks. I was trio’d up and we had two games back to back of cheaters (wide match S5 - plat 3). first guy turned them on after I slept him and killed him on Ashe, he only really got caught because he perfectly tracked our Lucio in speed boost coming around a corner. in real time, it was .5 seconds, we started FLAMING him for rage hacking (his account was silver 5). the second match was someone with walls. his aim was a little sus but he definitely had walls. it’s crazy out here in these metal ranks.

i think the reason silvers dont notice hacks sometimes is that there are so many smurfs in low elo that usually its just a smurf - and unless they pay attention to the killcam they wont notice it

@Overwatch2 should make a draw button where if 3 people on each side agree (or the majority) the game ends in a draw. This will also make it to where any mode can be a draw. This would also mean that drawing has to be either a lose or nothing because if it was a win for both sides people would draw all the time. This will at least make it where we can fight back against cheaters sense the anti cheat doesn’t work at all.

Why do they play where they have no line of sight to the fight? Completely makes the cheats useless lol

So, the situation in a nutshell: The player is smart to know how to hack their game, but not smart to know how to build raw effort and skill in being a better player.

on projectile it is a bit harder to tell but you can see how the computer tries to predict movement as opposed to a real person
