@@ruisurengai This. The Ana is just shooting then reloading while they are engaged. if nothing was happening then it would be different but that Ana is just missing good opportunities to help their team with so much reloading. Got to break the habit at some point.

You can use aim trainers on console too btw. I know you're just bronze so aim right now ain't your best priority but it will definitely help. Mess around with your controller settings until you find the best settings for you.

I think they freeze to ping I'm a dmg plat but when I play support I freeze to ping cause I play on controller and but don't use claw so I have to take my thumb off to hit my d-pad button

Dude the “if you think you heard something, you did.” saying hits so close to home. When me and my friends would play Apex I’d always be really cautious about sight lines because of the snipers. Whenever my friends would say “I think I heard footsteps.” We’d stop and listen for a bit and they’d hear nothing and just go about like normal. I’d still be super paranoid and hug corners and walls. Almost every damn time they’d run around a corner and get lit up by an entire team or get headshot by a sniper, more often than not by a kraber. It got to the point that any time we’d hear shots in the distance or things would suddenly go quiet for a few seconds, that calm before the storm feeling, I’d say “one of you two dumbasses is gonna get krabered”.

There's a weird sound affect on some maps that sounds like a Reaper teleporting (please let me know if anyone else has heard this because I feel like I'm going insane 😂) and every time I hear it I have to tab to see if the enemy team even has a Reaper. I don't know if it's just a me issue or not but if not - the devs got some explaining to do because that's just a terrible design flaw on their part

The reason for him stopping movement when sleeping is because on console, to ping its on the dpad so you have to take your thumb off of left stick to ping, and as an ana player in bronze the amount of times ive slept someone in teamfights and no one shoots at them is ABYSMAL.(no I don't stop moving to ping I just use claw for a sec)

I was thinking the same thing but wasn’t sure if they were playing with a controller. I usually stop to ping for a second as I play on controller. If you don’t ping, no one will come to help.

They were using their nade like a suzu. I think they are a kiri main. Everytime they used it, it was a decent time to use a suzu. They tried to cleanse a few abilities with that nade and used it as if it granted immunity.

best advice ive heard for ana especially for low rank players, nade is not to be used to make up for bad aim

Literally couldn't count how often I get accused of wallhacks simply because I heard a reaper/tracer/genji flanking like noone was gonna turn around. Audio in this game can convey vastly more information than most seem to realize. Use headphones guys.

I used to play against pros in CoD back around 2012, and they would accuse me of hacks because I would always pick up on the bushes moving or a random proximity wall object sound that 90% of the high level players didn't even know was a thing.

Watching low level Ana is a treat for me. Mostly because Ana is one of my most played supports. It's just entertaining in a more sadistic way.

Not sure if the dude / dudette is going through the comments but just in case - friendly and helpful advice from a fellow console ( diamond ) Ana main: First of: Either lower the aim assist strength or the window size. I keep mine around 30 to 40 for Ana. There's another setting that you might benefit from, which is friendly aim assist window size, but I wouldn't recommend putting it higher than 55 max. As Flats mentioned, get familiar with Nade. I only ever use it for my team if there's too many crits and both me and my other support are struggling to keep them up. Try using it more offensively, but don't start yeeting it off of cooldown. Highground and hugging corners are your best friend. If your teammates decide to position themselves out of your LOS and Leroy Jenkins it, it's not your job to make up for their questionworthy decision-making ( and end up dying in the process) Nano is one of the quickest ults to get - don't hold it until OW 2.75. Assess the situations; the amount of times I've saved my Zen from a stuck pulsebomb is baffling. I highly, HIGHLY recommend watching ML7 videos about positionings, pre nade setup's and everything in between. To me, he's by far the best Ana there is and thanks to him, I've climbed out of Gold back in OW1. @@foxbear1749 It took me a while as well to figure out which ones to use to reliably deal with flankers and land crucial sleep darts - feel free to try them out [ : H / V sens: 85 / 85 AAS: 100 AAWS: 30 to 60 ( higher, when I'm having major off days, but it's usually rather low ) AAEI: 100 AS: 99 AEI: 0 ( If it feels weird to you, it's fine to crank it up to 20, I wouldn't recommend going higher than that though ) Dual Zone Friendly AAW: 40 ( high enough to not miss Genji zooming around, but it also won't drag your crosshair all over ) Sens while scoped in: 28.5

10:18 i think thats a pretty reasonable play though at least for low ranks, backing off to regroup with their team. Some defending teams like to push all the way to the enemy spawn, there's a chance they could have been killed and staggered if the enemy chose to push up.

These players are death but when I play, they can hear me a mile away and through walls.

I like that around 14:50 Flats started thinking he wasn't reloading every 2 shots on purpose because I was like "No, he's just scared because he's so close to the fight so he's gonna fire every shot down to like 2 and forget to reload then have 2 shots when someone needs healing really bad." I've done it.

I find it interesting that Flats says to save nade here 6:04 since I was told I should be nading as often as possible. granted (and I'm gold so I might be wrong) I would sleep then nade the hog or if I missed my sleep nade the hog once he got lower ~50%. Also I was told to nade sooner rather than later since *most* fights would last long enough to get 2 nades off and a tank could push off of an anti, even if it was a 1 person anti since it would force a tank behind cover or force a Kiri nade or something like that. Just what I was told from a plat player vod reviewing my silver game 4 patches ago.

Honestly when it comes to comp I think the issue with most is they play too many back to back games. They start winning a couple then they go on a massive losing streak. I usually play 1-4 comp games in a session. I’m noticing more improvement and honestly I might actually go back to being a plat tank. Just struggling in gold rn

I used to reload a lot after i shot coupl of bullets during fight because of habit (i rarely play fps during i first play ow2, that time i thought you need to make sure the bullet not reach 0), my friend or i should called him as my coach because he's teaching me, pointed that out and try to make me stop my habit by keep watching me play ana and point out whenever i accidental reload, until i finally get out my habit, he stop and said that he proud i stop doing that 😂

Reloading afer every gunfight/kill is a habit most people form in other shooters where sometimes the difference in a fight is the size of your mag. Every bullet counts and a bad reload gets you killed

to be fare i think "reloading after not shooting a lot" is basically hard coded into shooter players these days im a battlefield player and i do it sometimes, id describe it as the shooter version of potion hoarding in rps.
