You're right, he's wrong. Hip firing on Ana is less accurate and her hip fire is projectile, so it takes time to travel which could mean life or death for a dps in a duel. Scoped in is hitscan.

Non scoped is faster firing I think? In an ideal world, you wouldn't have to scope but realistically especially when you are playing far away (as you should) it being hitscan is quite relevant when you are hitting people moving between things that obscure your vision, you physically can't no scope and there isn't danger in doing so

whats annoying to is they are invading casual and arcade modes so no where is safe to play

It's not likely, but it's a possibility, happened once while I was playing cs go, although usually the servers are working good enough so if it happens it might be a hacker, but it can also be the server crashing

had a widow/bastian cheater in my plat game. Started telling everyone how he is gm and just smurfing. I checked replay and the first thing i saw was him tracking my grapel through the wall… very frustrating playing against a cheater that also flames

COD has a hacker infestation. They literally were held hostage by some hackers who were stealing from players and that is the biggest game in the world. It’s clearly something technology in general isn’t capable of fully preventing yet no matter how rich they are. Online gaming is still relatively new. Humanity is a work in progress have some patience.

The valve servers on Tf2 have the bot issue but it’s not as bad cause there’s community servers that have bot preventing measures in place so I usually play map rotating causal servers, I don’t think overwatch has that level of community servers up so the cheating issue is gonna hit hard

Nah they wouldn't be able to play on NA servers if they bought a KR account. The chances of them happening to buy a NA account with Korean name is astronomically low. The name literally means something to the effect of "I'll handle it"/"I got it", they definitely have a huge ego and chose that name.

It’s insane how many cheaters there are right now. Last week me and my friends stacked up to play ranked for the first time this season. I kid you not, the first game we get into, both dps on the enemy team are hard locking with walls. Told the enemy team but we couldn’t do anything since it was KotH/Control. Ended up losing the game, everyone reported the cheaters but I don’t have high hopes that they’ll get banned anytime soon.

It sucks because this is a problem that is plagueing all shooters and none of these companies want to admit how hard they're failing at preventing or even banning these accounts in any meaningful way. When blizzard says they banned 50k cheaters that's really just a ton of spoofed or bought accounts that will come right back because the cheater hides their IP address or does any number of things to prevent getting a real perma ban. 50k could be as few as 5 thousand cheaters with 10 alts, but they'd never admit this because it would highlight how helpless they are to uphold the integrity of their games. They're foolish to brag about these ban waves. All it's telling us is "hey our game is consistently riddled with cheaters to the point we can fake brag about banning x amount every few months." It's a pathetic tell and they're too foolish to read between the lines of their own bs.

There's only so much you can do to ban people without breaching deeper into users computers. This situation was a contentious issue with games like Valorant. Riot uses kernel level anti-cheat detection which is absurdly invasive by monitoring all of your PCs activity even when the game isn't running. Yeah, you'd be able to identify malware directly, but it comes at a really high cost. Also, to solidify bans more, you'd have to grant them accsess to your hardware information which would allow them to hardware ban users spoofing their IP. Them "bragging" about banning what they can without intruding on your personal privacy should be considered a win if you care at all about not having literally all of your data mined by a company. Developers are playing a game where they are always behind. They have to play catch-up to cheat softwares. Your expectations, while based in valid concern, are probably a bit too high. Just food for thought.

@@concinnus No matter the cost, there will always be cheaters. 30 dollar price tag (without insane regional discounts) was just a way higher entry bar. In a perfect world they would try and find the perfect middle ground but that doesn't boost sales as much as going f2p

If you see an Ashe in Silver/Gold get that many headshots while running around spamming hip fire with hilariously wide damage spread, but can't even aim at and hit their own dynamites, you should know they're cheating 100%. At that point, you report them and hope that Blizzard ends the game. At higher ranks you can ask for mass reports and people may comply, and agree to a draw. At low ranks, this generally isn't possible as low elo players want the free win so they can "rank up out of elo hell." Lol. I wouldn't even call them out in match chat, as it will only trigger their teammates to pocket and protect them while he hands them the free win. It has always been like that in this game... Since at least 2017 when I started playing, this has been the case.

Is this what happens in some of my games? I’ll be playing really well, rolling some people, then out of nowhere I’ll have 800ping and can’t do anything and the enemy team just rolls through. Next game comes along and things are just fine again.

The best moment I had relating to this was months ago where I saw a rare instance of honor in a ranked game. An enemy Reinhardt started throwing and when asked why at the end, he said because there was a cheater on his team and he didn’t want him to win I wish we saw more examples like that

Watching this hacker is just painful man. They have the hardest aimbot I have ever seen and still they didn't even add that much value to their team on offense. They also spammed unscoped with Ashe which confused the hell out of me, like why not play soldier or cass at that point? Also I'm not even that good at the game but holy hell was their positioning atrocious

Just gonna say that ban waves are bad for consumers and good for devs, I can understand ban waves in PVE games like WoW but PVP, they should be banned immediately

@@thundercake9407 but you understand that the game devs are between a rock and a hard place at that point, right? If they make a system that bans cheaters immediately, the cheat devs will figure out how they're being detected and come up with a quick fix. If they ban them in waves so the cheat devs have a harder time figuring out why their cheats are being detected, players suffer because they have to deal with cheaters for weeks or months on end. It's lose-lose for the game devs, and this is happening in most competitive games. Cheat devs are cockroaches, and it sucks that there's a demand from a group of losers that will pay them any amount of money to be artificially better at a video game. I don't even know how they can deal with them besides suing them IRL, and that's hard because I imagine most of the cheat devs are anonymous and have no traceable Internet identity. It sucks that we, the consumers, have to deal with it, but we should be mindful that there's a very dark underbelly to the integrity of competitive gaming.

If you ban in waves it's just going to make the player base hate the game due to the amount of cheaters piling up and leave.

I had that server lag thing happen to me once. Me and my duo were trying to climb to masters and on my rank up game from d4 we got a game where a duo or trio wasnlaggin the server everytime we approached payload. It would be amooth sailing until we reached payload, then younjust see everyone start floating. The funny thing is we still almost won

Anti-cheat is on vacation and report system is literal ass. I got suspended after dps duo reported me for saying: Can you do something with flanking reaper, cause he's killing us in the backline" (i was the support). I don't know how to give comms if I can be reported and suspended for something like this.

Every time Flats mentions that "hip fire guy" i hope this dude meant 2 tapping hipfire between scoped shots.

You know what the worst part about people that say "oh i could be so much higher if i had good aim" is when they cheat? They don't even put in the time to learn game sense, AND NOT EVEN TO OPEN A FUCKING FREE AIM TRAINING PROGRAM LIKE AIMLABS AND BE CONSISTENT AT IT FOR A WHILE. And they just complain, and use cheats instead, because it's the easy route. Like, wanna make the argument that aim is what's keeping you back? sure! go ahead! train your aim! See if that's really what's holding you back! If you use cheats there's really no excuse for any of those. If they don't have time to dedicate 30 minutes everyday to aiming drills, which require no thought, i really wonder how much they're analyzing their gameplay in order to improve. (they aren't)

In Halo you can team kill when the cheater is stuck on your team which I do with a vengeance. One of them in retaliation made our game lag just like that clip.

i think the anti cheat being “on vacation” is bc, at the start of the season, there was a huge wave of ppl getting banned for nothing, so they turned off the automated ban system while they try to figure out the problem.

I was playing qp a WHILE ago with some friends and we had a Winston on circuit royale on our team. We'd been doing really well so far (they asked me to play a tank so I was on sigma) but about half way through third point everything starts lagging out really bad. I'm all the way up at 200+ ping and so is everyone else but we kept trying to play. Everyone in the lobby was complaining and asking if everyone else was having the same issues and our other tank towards the end starts getting really defensive and toxic, saying to just "play the game". We figured they were probably cheating and reported them but I never got the message that they were banned back. oh well
