Good one. Reminds me of a "ski weekend" to Glencoe with my brother at Easter ... in 1953! No car, just our bikes; skis strapped to the crossbar, tent, poles, Primus stove, tea and tattie scones in the saddle bags. Off we go: 50 miles from Balloch to the foot of Meall a' Bhuiridh. Knackered! Pitched the tent ON THE SNOW. Next morning: up the "mountain" on foot, skis on shoulder (no ski lifts in 1953!). Three hours to walk up ... 12 minutes to ski down! Fifty miles back to Balloch. I never put skis on again!

You two are a pure joy! I like all your videos, but the ones that are off the cuff have a special, glorious spontaneity. Good work, Erin and Amy!

Truly amazing drive!!! I live in Arkansas “USA” and we have the Ozark mountain range to drive threw. But there are a great deal of trees so not to many monolithic rock faces. And of course we hardly ever get snow but tell ya girl them there strawberry tarts looked Mighty good. (Said in the most hillbilly accent) lol

Erin, It seemed to me, in Scotland, that nearly every rural road was a "Wee" road. So many single track roads with passing zones. It made driving interesting. I'm glad that the aggressive driver didn't cause an accident.

Aaaah it was so nice seeing all the places again I visited on my holiday last summer :D did you not stop at Clachaig Inn by any chance? That's where we stayed :D

Drives like this and when i was working up the isle of harris makes you realise how beautiful this country can be for sure. Isle of Harris white sand and clear blue water almost made me forget I was in Scotland, just the wind that would cut you in a half was a reminder lol, you ever been there?

I love Luskentyre beach especially, my great grandparents were from Harris and I'm glad I've seen the island once at least. It's magical and the ferry crossing is fun too!

@@Maesterful Was terrible weather we ended up being the last ferry for that day because it was that bad and got sea sickness, never been on a boat when the see's been that rough before

Pretty successful!

Silly maybe but no less enjoyable. STUNNING landscape. Whether or not we've seen it before, the scenery never ever gets old. And still quite a bit of snow out there (without any "beasts from the east! lol) Yikes for the close call with the idiot driver.

Looked like fun, thanks for the video. Wish I understood what's popular in Scotland better, because it's weird (to me) to see really happening people getting into such old music!? Whatever works I guess. Nice video and scenery too.

Well, the drive up towards Glencoe if you want to be totally specific, it's not technically all Glencoe. But we call it that anyway

I've been loads :) I try and visit most years and I have a bunch of Ireland vlogs. Also going back this year. I must say I prefer Scotland haha but I do love Ireland.

My God, I wonder if you really know just how beautiful you are? When I started the video and you smiled at the 2 second mark, it truly lit up my screen. Wow. Then you have all of this incredible scenery on your trip to Glencoe. Scotland really is gorgeous. I would love to visit sometime, even though here in Canada we have some spectacular sights as well. Oh yes, how was your toilet?
