So incredibly frustrated I can't get to Scotland. Canadian guy of Scottish decent who feels it's the best country on earth (my roots talking, no doubt). I want to be there so badly and I live vicariously through you Erin. God's country!!! I LOVE IT! Made more friends there and shared more drinks than anywhere in my life's travels. Dogs in pubs by fireplace... BLISS!
It's been WAY TOO LONG since the last hill vlog!

I loved this. It made me think of my Dad. Today is exactly six months since he passed away (at the amazing age of 90!). He was a Munroe Completer! You’ve inspired me to do a bit of climbing :)

I have never seen orange twirls before and I've seen them all over your socials and now I desperately want one!! Also... how many times did you run back for the camera? xD At 4:52 I swear I could see my hoose from there... The shot at 7:00 is hauntingly beautiful

gorgeous views of Ben Ledi! Thanks for sharing.
I am in love with the Scottish accent!! 😍
Awesome hike. I've got to get out there to the highlands some day. I hike the white mountains in New Hampshire often and i bring my bagpipes with me. I love playing at the top by myself and then when I pass people on the way down I'm like "why no, I didn't hear any bagpipes playing...." Mu hu hah ha ha.
Awesome scenery, well done.
Soo majestic thanks for your efforts !
That was nice, Erin, thank you for sharing. Beautiful views, great weather for a hike!
Another brilliant vid Erin.loved it.
Thanks for taking us along. Loved it.
What a beautiful hike, watching your face was the best part, I love your videos smile
Thanks for this. I love quiet ,remote outdoor spaces. Sometimes I'm out maybe with just my dog and after a long while I'll say something to the dog and for a brief second I'm startled by my voice. Odds are very much against me ever walking up Ben Ledi so now I can feel like I have.

Hi Erin.😊 I just by chance stumbled across your channel the other day when I was curious of what Scotland looks like. So,I checked it out on line and, that's when I came across your channel. And,I gotta tell you, you are one cool woman who for sure puts a huge smile on my face 👍 I love your humor Erin. Always making me chuckle 😊 I'm from the states and where I live,it's somewhat like scotland. Alot of forestry. And, that's what I like. If only I could see it much better would be great.y vision isn't the best. I'm going blind due to a rare eye condition called choroideremia. I can still see but, only out of my left eye 👀. And, what I see is like looking through a straw. A bummer 👎 I know. But,on the plus side, stem cell therapy within the next 5 to 10 years. I just hope by then I'm not completely blind. What we all need is god's kingdom. And, it's coming 👍. You stay safe out there ok. And, I'll see you in your next video. God bless you Erin.🙏❤️👍
This was grand! Scenery looked absolutely amazing! Glad ya got some outdoor time too! Nature does have a habit of revivifying. It was fun to see another hill walking video again! And any future outdoor videos are always welcomed. Absolutely enjoyed this!!

I enjoyed that! Going for a wee solo jaunt up this hill on Wednesday….. so typed in “how to climb Ben Ledi”….. and you came up. Cheers 👍
Can't wait to visit Scotland one day! I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Called Grayson Highlands because so many Scots settled here in the mid 1700s. Your hike reminded my of some of my treks here, beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for the video. Love your accent.
Great to see you back in the hills, I'm the same...nothing better than having a bit of 'me time' on a quiet mountain to re-calibrate the perspective.
Thanks for the inspiration
Nice! I done Ben A'an yesterday as i haven't done any hills for ages. I was surprised though with how busy it was. I got there for 9am and the all the local car parks were full with about 100 or so people on the wee hill.

Well done Erin, and thanks for the Lekker vlog. It’s lovely that it’s safe for you to be able to walk alone. In South Africa it’s not recommended.
Just the views of the sun-lit hills, covered in their gorse and heather brings a tear to my eye.
Just came across your Vlog as it had Ben Ledi. The last time I was up Ben Ledi I was about 14 doing the Duke of Edinburgh award . One of the guys got hypothermia and it was blowing a gale we had to make sure he was ok and I was battering open a can of Heinz Lentil & Bacon soup.( we did not have freeze dried ) taken cold and digestive biscuits with jam. We got him down safe . Ah Happy days . I am 61 now and still enjoy a good walk, thanks your video was fun. All the best Derek Burns
How is it that I'm only discovering your channel now! Love your personality and accent!
Gonna check out wee Ben griahm mor soon for a bit of sanity.. Its in the flow country near Forsinard
Yes, another hill walk! I've missed these. You'll get your mojo back after a few more walks.
Erin, that was a really enjoyable video. Having often seen Ben Ledi from the Main Street in Callander, it was great to see your journey up to the top, on a pretty good day. The Trossachs is such a beautiful part of Scotland, and it’s a must for anyone who enjoys gorgeous countryside and stunning scenery. There is the rich historical aspect as well and so many places to explore. You have a lovely personality and look forward to more of your videos.

nice hike. I have spent many a day in the White Mountains of New Hampshire US
These are ALWAYS worth waiting for. The combination of serenity...and scenery...is unmistakable. Brilliant filming doesn't hurt either😊 also noteworthy is the rare lack of wind! I like too how you show us the memorial markers. The shot of the cross against the sky like that was stirring. And yeah, what a wee strange cloud there! Outstanding once again Erin! Glad for the clearer head as well! 🙂

Weather in Scotland for the last couple of weeks has been something amazing. It has rained where I have been but more often than not only at night and the wettest thing I have had is my tent. Such skies and stunning visibility! And you didn't quite have the hill to yourself. Some of the most interesting chance conversations happen when you only meet a few people all day. I was on the way up An Stac near Lochailort a week ago and passed someone on the way down, who said that they had watched me playing the fiddle one evening. I was sitting outside on the grass and had no idea there was anyone else near me. Hope that you have fixed the headspace for a few more of the folks who have dropped in on this.
Your voice always makes me smile. Greetings from Los Angeles. 🖤

Well done you 👍 I know exactly how you felt during this walk / hill climb. I did a munro the other week , the first since pre lock down and I can tell you that I nearly gave up on two occasions . The only thing that spurred me on was the forlorn look on my father in law's face when I said I can't do this . He's a true munro bagger and I couldn't let him down . So glad when we reached the top but the windy conditions were horrendous . Nothing like a hot cup of coffee huddled behind a very small rock lol. Anyway great achievement , the next one will be easier I'm sure 😁

My ancestors were traced to the year 1500 in the Orkney island chain. Does that make them Scots or perhaps Norse/ Norwegian or both? Can you relate to Orkney being Scottish? Looks quite different from the mainland.
