Has a Hall & Oates vibe to me! Remember this tune at dances my freshman year in high school...1977...dancing with a lovely young lady! Thanks for the great memories!
This song has everything: amazing vocals, lyrics, instrumental arrangements, great solo, ...
A song from my teens it's from 1977. They used to play songs like this on the school bus. Checkout Wayward son by Kansas. Or a song called Renegade by Styx. 🧡 Onyin
One of the greatest hooks in modern music. Everyone in a 40 year range knows this song because of the hook. Just sing “Baby come back” in a crowd of 40 year olds on up. I guarantee that almost all of them will know the song and ask to have it played
40 years ago and still soooo good. Thanks for taking me back to my heydays❣️ many more groups like this in the 70s you will like. Please react to How Much I Feel by Ambrosia or any of their songs - promise you won’t be disappointed
Love it, love you !! Great reaction to a great song !!
Hello, Your right about this song, the vibe I am getting has the same feel from listening to the Bee Gees. Considering it was around the era that groups like the Bee Gees or Player were popular. By the way love hearing Baby Come Back! 🤠
Yes, they are a lot like the Bee Gees. In fact Bee Gees "Too Much Heaven" was done in 1978 while "Baby Come Back was in 1977. Another band to listen to like the Bee Gees is "Ambrosia". David Pack is the high falsetto in ambrosia. One of their best songs is "Biggest Part Of Me", which was done in 1980.
Amazing band and song! Thank you!,
One of the best love/slow songs ever played. Check that - one of the best songs ever played - period.
A masterpiece
Always loved this song. You should try their other hit "This Time I'm In It for Love" next.
Beautiful reaction baby 💪💪💪
Love this song! Thank you for reacting to it! Great job!
great reaction.
Will anyone be reacting to today's music in 40 years.I don't think so. But they will still be reacting to this kind of music!
Nice to be back on your channel, Onyin! Great reaction to this lovely song!! it brings to mind a few other songs you may wish to consider reacting to: "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac, "Vincent" by Don McLean, "Heart of Gold" by Neil Young from 1971, "One Less Bell To Answer" by the Fifth Dimension, "Hallelujah" by kd lang from the 2010 Olympics opening ceremony and "You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood Sweat and Tears!! Keep up the great work on your channel!
I didn't think I knew this till the chorus arrived.
Nice song
I love listening to the beautiful african women's accent .. great song also ..
I like the way you broke it down in the end...very nice touch
I love this song since the first time i heard it! 1977, i was 9...
Definitely bringing back high school memories
Hi dear Onyln... I didn't know this song before and actually thought that it might be a cover version from another song called "Baby come back", but it wasn't. But I liked the song very much. Now I have another request for you : I would love to see you react to Eivor - Falling free Live at the Old Theatre in Torshavn. Believe me, you'll be speechless and this song and her voice will captivate you ! Best wishes : Gerry the foodist.
Hi ! How are you doing ? Ali , from Belgium Europe . I subscribe & share ! You have choose a very good song ! You're right , harmonics are like The Bee Gees ! I see you know well music , it's a pleasure , very beautifull woman , with a cute accent ! Excuses-me cauz I don't speak (well) american-english ! Thanks for your comment(s) ! 💖
Harmony at its best. Not around anymore
🌹🌹❤😘
💝👍✨
Did you say 40 years ago???? FUuuuuuuu, I'm old!
Can you please react to one of these songs 1) Cry for Help by Rick Astley 2) Burn for You by John Farnham 3) When Something is wrong with my baby by Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham
Kindly do a reaction to Toni Childs I've got to go now
The Bee Gees Are teenage bubble gum. Back in the day they were considered L 7...that means Square! Player was far better!
