I was 16 years old when this came out. I still have the original album! Songs was created and performed by artists that knew how to write, to play their instruments, to sing without the assistance of systems like autotune etc. And of course be able to put this all together in a live or studio performance. If you couldn't, you were out. So glad I was raised on music from the 70s and early 80s. A lot of the best music of all time came from this time period!

One hit wonder doesn't tell the story they had other hits 3-4 but not number 1. This song was 1 for 3 weeks and 33 on the chart. Late 70's musical competition was fierce
