Finally someone makes a real reaction video to Dark Sarah!!! I'm glad you liked it!!! That's why you get a subscription from me, even if I don't really want to give anyone else one because I just have enough of it for myself. I highly recommend Memories Fall!!!! For me along with Dance With the Dragon the best song by Dark Sarah. Memories Fall is a duet with Manuela Kraller, who I think has one of the most beautiful voices. Please listen to this. You will definitely not regret it!!!!! It is completely incomprehensible to me why there are so few videos for "Memories Fall". If you listen to it you will understand why.

Cinematic metal, a subgenre for symphonic metal. Heidi Parviainen made a compilation of three albums featuring Dark Sarah. Sarah is a woman who was getting married, but the groom never showed up. So..., she became Dark Sarah, whose journey you can follow through those three albums. The album features a number of guest singers in different roles (Manuela Kraller, Inga Scharf, Tony Kakko, Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto, Charlotte Wessels, Manuela Kraller, Zuberoa Aznárez , Marko Hietala, Netta Skog, Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto, Jasse Jatala). As it may have been mentioned before, the metal genre is really strong in Finland and if a band wants to get to the top or be featured, it has to develop something that makes it stand out from all the others... So, in Finland you can probably find every metal genre that exists, and if it doesn't exist, it will be invented. 😂

Then u find him bands called Harmaja, Powerless Trio (kinda project) with Marco Hietala and Ari Koivunen and also his own solo career albums. Super excited you reacted to some Dark Sarah. I love her voice and their storytelling is top notch. They call themselves cinematic metal so it makes sense that I get metal Disney vibes. There is a lovely live version of this song that you should listen to for yourself, kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z6Cm0tSBdarKadI.html. For more Dark Sarah I love this live performance of Icehart, kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZIKmm8mEfcKyqNY.html. Also Trespasser and All Ears. Not that familiar with J.P. solo or his bands work. Mostly know him from his work with Finnish metal super group Northern Kings (Jarkko Ahola - Terasbatoni, Marko Hietala - Tarot,/Nightwish, Tony Kakko - Sonata Arctica, J. P. - Charon/Harmaja) who sing metal covers of pop songs. Their most popular cover is Take On Me. I love this performance of a Finish Christmas Song that also works in some melodies from Walking in the Air, kzread.info/dash/bejne/fp-CpMiHe8Szldo.html.

They have five albums now. They've changed their sound a little but I still love it, and the way Heidi continues to keep the story going is really creative. Hahaha yes!! Now you can see why I keep mentioning JP and why he is my favourite Finnish singer. 😁🤘❤ To be honest it took me a few listens to decide if I liked this song when I first heard it, but once I did, I threw myself down the rabbit hole and have no intention of leaving. And also, it's not so much a concept album as much as a concept band; all of the music, artwork, and everything is constructed around the story that lead singer Heidi is creating. (At this point in the story, the character of Dark Sarah, played by Heidi, is trapped in the Underworld trying to escape, and this was her first, but definitely not last, encounter with the Dragon, the ruler of the Underworld, played by JP.) I could go off on a whole tangent about this band but I'll let you get into it for yourself. 😊 Welcome to the Darklings, and enjoy the ride. 😁🤘 My first trip to Finland was to see them with JP for the release show of their third album. They're honestly some of the best people. ❤

Thank you so much for reacting to this masterpiece and I'm so happy you loved it!! I think I was one of the first, if not the first, who requested this (at least here in the comments) as JP has been my favourite singer since Charon's first album many years ago! I've loved this song since the first time I watched this video and have watched it a 1000 times at least 😂 l love all Dark Sarah's albums but especially the 3rd one called The Golden Moth where JP as The Dragon sings with the lovely Heidi on every track. They made a few videos for it and I would love to see a reaction for Trespasser! Next must be JP's goth metal band (my favourite band together with Nightwish and Ghost) Charon - there are only videos for 4 songs unfortunately so start with Little Angel and Colder! JP also sang on Poisonblacks first album (their best imo) and there's a video for Love Infernal, very old video so not great quality. But a banger of a track! All else is hollow is another amazing track with a lyric video. Would love to see reactions to those! Northern Kings is also a great band with 4 superstar metal voices, they made metal covers of everything from Aha to Tina Turner. I recommend We don't need another hero. Looking forward to much more from JP, especially Charon, and also Dark Sarah!! ❤
