There is a live version that's just as great!

Thanks! My fav song (so far) from Dark Sarah. Some bands make stories (like Nightwish), but that story is usually only one song. In case of Dark Sarah, Heidi Parviainen (female vocalist) made 3 album long story ..., or journey. Very cool idea.

Love to finally see Dark Sarah get some attention - been a fan of them since the first album. I also like how there's a storyline running all the way through the first 3 albums - it's not just individual songs. :)

I love Dark Sarah. ❤ Glad you enjoyed it too! This was the song that introduced me to them, and I was drawn in by JP/Dragon and haven't looked back. I was lucky enough to be able to travel from Canada to Finland for the release show of "The Golden Moth", and got to meet the band. They are amazing live, and even more wonderful people (Especially JP, my personal favourite. He's a total sweetheart. I high recommend checking out his other music.). All of their songs are fantastic, but the one that I love most is "I Once Had Wings", which someone mentioned is JP's solo where he tells the backstory of Dragon.

So dramatic, Gothic, bits of humour, I got instantly mesmerized by the guy's darkness and her beauty, like a forbidden love affair, magnificent combination in my opinion

THIS! This is the song that introduced me to Finnish Symphonic Metal about a year ago. I was wandering aimlessly on KZread looking for new music when I stumbled upon a Dragon, who took me to a Phantom and just like that, I was hooked and began to actively look for for more. Thanks for a moment of nostalgia!

JP has such a special voice, he don't get the opportunity to shine here

JP is incredible (and very sexy 😆), I don't even think he gets to truly shine here as the mixing could be better IMO. He and a bunch of the band guys are involved in the Raskasta Joulua metal Christmas production, I highly recommend checking that stuff out if you haven't already!

I saw this before. I think it is really cool. The male singer is one of the ones that sings with Marko in the Northern Kings.............. :-)

I am addicted of them. Next you should try "Sky Sailing". Till now I am not sure with one is better - "Dragon" or "Sky". I love chemistry between singers.

Hmm, I didn’t know you’d like Metal Theater or I would have recommended this. Dark Sarah is great!!

I love music... I love it all in one form or another. lol

IMO bringing in JP was the best move Dark Sarah could have made, as a musical project. His and Heidi’s voices blend beautifully, and while the story across the trilogy is a little convoluted musically the the third album is absolutely phenomenal. Be sure to check out everyone else’s suggestions, and my personal favorite is I Once Had Wings, which is Dragon’s lament about being banished by the gods and also features Netta Skog on accordion.

JP definitely brought something special to the band. I'm sad that the next (4th) album is the last we'll see of Dragon, at least for the time being. But Heidi did say he's always welcome to join them onstage and she's sure they'll work together again, so my fingers are crossed that he'll be back in the future.

OMG yes you did it! Might have slipped a little squeek when yt noticed me. I do tend to listen it many times and just dive in to it. It’s so awesome when the mood is right. Have you heard their song Gods speak? Guess who’s god. Mr. Marko Hietala is.

The only bad thing I see in Dark Sarah, is that their other videos were not as ambitious as this one. Because I think it works so well with the metal opera and this continuing story arch, to have proper videos.

Fantastic song and finally a video that really really fits the song behind it. I would say the song makes even more sense after you watched this. If you want more from that band, my favorite song from that album is Rain (feat. Manuela Kraller).

Wow, very theatrical...kind of a cross between Phantom of the Opera meets Beauty and the Beast. The vocals are great and I really like it in a weird sort of way!

The live version sounds alike. I left a link on your link place. Thank you for this reaction! Just love Dark Sarah. When you want to treat yourself, listen through the whole story so far, about 30 songs.

I'm looking for a reaction for Little Men by Dark Sarah. The visuals are cool, like tripping on some shrooms cool.

The short instrumental part after chorus sounded a lot like Von Hertzen Brothers song "Trouble" .

That was pretty cool...different for sure! Parts of it reminded me of Therion (only small bits...maybe just the female vocals). They sure are theatrical! I like it. Please do more from this band. Cheers!

@@ollytherock7324 That's one of their worst albums IMO. They tried to write an opera, but were only mildly successful. I much prefer their previous output...even the one of French pop song covers. I requested Clavicula Nox (3 versions) on your link page for the Wolf Rock channel I believe. Beautiful song!

Heidi Parviainen is a very good singer and she has beautiful voice, but I prefer her from band Amberian Dawn, there her voice was incredible, I really miss her operatic voice. :( Can yoi react "River of Tuoni" by Amberian Dawn? Please.
