So, if I understand correctly, he is playing The Dragon - see the shadow at the very beginning when they picture the stairs he walks down. But he's in human form. Somehow he has brought her to his lair (?) against her will and she wants to leave. She found a key to get out, I guess, but was caught with it by his minions. So they brought her to him and he is angry but also hurt. His low dialog says he cries every night alone and that's why he brought her there. Meanwhile she is begging to be let go. He will punish her for stealing the key by forcing her to dance with him at the dragon's ball. I love it when they start to tango. The tango can be a very adversarial dance between the partners and they make it a bit that way here. They sing "take my all, I surrender, surrender." But neither will give and they don't know how to get past their differences. Then there is the part where they are both in white. I think they both dream of love between them and here we see it manifest. But the dream vanishes and she again asks him to let her go, tries to take the key again. He gets angry and leaves with the key, while the minions take her back to wherever he is keeping her. They sing about dying another day, another way. I think that's a way of saying "to be continued." It's a beautiful video, very well done and I bet it was expensive. I absolutely love it. Thank you for your reaction / review.

I would happily pay three kidneys for a musical with the whole story of Sarah and the Dragon

Have to agree everything about this music and video is exceptional. Love his voice as the dragon, hers is pure and clear.

In the Middle World, Sarah, a young woman, is about to get married. However, things go horribly wrong and her fiance leaves her at the altar. But then Sarah's evil alter ego, Dark Sarah, enters the game and things start to get really strange. Sarah thinks she has murdered her fiance. The alter ego, Dark Sarah, starts her own journey. She is sent to the Underworld, the island in the middle of a raging ocean. There she is given a task to find three keys to win her soul back. She meets Dragon, the King of the Underworld. Dark Sarah enters The Upper World, a deserted waste land where the Gods rule and an exciting adventure begins. This story spans three albums Black Veil, The Puzzle, The Golden Moth.

Anything with JP gets a like from me. ❤ Finland's best voice. If you want to hear a Dark Sarah song where he sings essentially sings solo, "I Once Had Wings" is absolutely the one for you. It tells a little bit of the backstory of his character (The Dragon). But really, he has a plethora of work in both English and Finnish that is well worth checking out; Charon, Harmaja, Northern Kings, and currently a solo career. Dark Sarah is such a rabbit hole. The whole story and world Heidi (the leading lady) continues to create is phenomenal. I highly suggest checking out the whole Dark Sarah story. It's a modern day fairy tale. ❤
