I love these types of videos. They give me the enthusiasm to wrench on my own project bikes over the weekend. And they are an effective reminder to never respond to ads that say "currently not running". Although, I suspect that you can't be completely happy as a motorcyclist unless you have at least one project bike in the garage to tinker with.

@@williamcb78 I was that kind of rider for a while. Then I bought 3 project bikes this year & couldn't be happier. One is already on the road, one will be completely sorted tomorrow & the third just needs the 4 carburetors balanced & tuned. By the end of the year I'll have 4 bikes that I can ride, plus the tools & experience to be able to fix almost any issue that comes up down the road.
You do more work on a motorcycle in 4 days than I've done in 5 years of having a motorcycle
Ladder lift is so far from being sketchy bro has a low bar for sketchy 🤣🤣🤣
Ladder Hack👍👍👍
Day 4 intro - spoken like a true DIYer 😂
Words cannot describe how happy I am seeing someone with mechanical experience go through this while I'm trying to go over my first bike, a '97 Suzuki GS500E, that turns out had been mistreated by her last owner over almost 15 years, and then I put another 5000 miles on it as a newbie, and now I'm fixing it up to make sure that the next guy won't have to deal with a pile of trash waiting to blow up, which I did without knowing that I did.
I’d definitely use a torque wrench on the fork tubes. They’re very specific numbers and over tight can cause binding of suspension components
@spitescorner Maybe I missed it in a previous video but Congrats on the nuptials! Hope you and Mrs.Spite have many years of happiness and may your first child be a masculine child.
That track at 18 mins slapped.
Love the metal music. I will meet you one day and we’ll get along just fine.
I LOVE the cbr600!!!! My first was a 93 f2. Those 600cc scream!
Cant wait to see the video in that Papio CL
Keep up the great content. 18:42 wrenching on a bike is fun until it isn’t. 😂. Can’t wait to see what’s next and to continue to watch your channel grow!
Nice work, brother. Congrats!
For years I did my wrenching bare handed, recently I bought a box of vinyl nitrate gloves, can't work without them now, save the odd knuckle skin too. Maybe I'll get a pair of mechanics gloves soon, really go wild.
Thats awesome Spite. Its great to see some one else doing the work. I do all the work on mine so know the feelings.
You're a savage for not putting some foil on those pipes when you drained that oil 😂
Nice work! 👍 My F4i was same color and my first big bike. Put almost 30k on it before selling a few years ago and I do miss it a bit. I do NOT miss dealing with the bleepin' fairings every time I needed to do any maintenance...
Great vid. I had an F4i. Set it up as a sport touring machine. I put about 60k miles on that bike. It was by far one of my favorites of the bikes I’ve owned.
It's alive! It's ALIVE! ⚡
Hahaha I laughed with your method of heighten the bike back up with the ladder and the jack in back. That's actually pretty smart, ngl. Lol. 😆 Good stuff on seeing the F4I getting back to no normal operation circumstances.
I love that blue!
I might buy one of these too!
top tier content and host
Great soundtrack
For old bikes put a Viagra in the gas tank. If RPMs exceed redline for 4 hours call your mechanic.
This is a very exciting series it's too bad I literally sold my f4i a week before you got yours 😂 can you do an rsv4 build series
Great bikes
Ugh... I can feel the "waiting for parts" thing... I'm currently waiting on parts for 2 bikes... and then I did a colossal stupid and dropped my 3rd bike in the garage while moving it around, cracked the mirror, bent the lever and scuffed the fairing... I wasn't careful with the kickstand...I knew better. That bike now needs a left mirror and I can probably straighten the lever... Feeling the "I'm tired of working on this ******* bike" moment too. Still, I'm looking forward to the next episode in the saga of the FB marketplace F4i.
What a beast
Hey spite is it worth getting a cheap project bike to flip?
I’ve wanted an F4i for 20 years
For me I found the music a tad loud, I like it just thought it should turned down
Maybe I missed it, but what was the purpose of going through all the effort to clean the old injectors instead of just replacing them with new ones?
Where did you get injector rebuild kit? I’m trying to find for my 2001 f4i with no luck

Amazon. It was like $20 from some company called Uremco
"clutch stuff" :D
cover the throttle body/carb with a rag or something so nuts/screws won't fall in. Ask me how I know...
Spite where the heck did you get that hoodie lol, really love to know why they chose those chinese characters.
Music is so good in this video. UPD: or it was until 17:45 😄

Fresh meat…made me lol 🥴
You probably want to replace that chain and sprocket set while you are at it - I'm willing to bet that sucker is stretched AF, and probably has not been maintained very well.
That electric ratchet looks a lot like a parkshit one. Is it?
PORTILLOS!
Yo, Spite. Can we get some Hornet content please?

Don’t you have a head-stand? You’ll need one to put tire warmers on the front tire at the track…

Are you planning on safety wire it? My race club just made the shark-fin chain guard mandatory. I think it’s a good idea even if it’s not mandatory.

I cover the header pipes on my motorcycle with foil to keep all off of them. I don’t have to smell burning all or see it smoke a little as it burns it all off later.
You keep telling us what you did off camera, why not show us?

Because I do a lot of wrenching at night and I can't film at night with the gear I have, though to be fair, I showed the important stuff like cleaning the injectors in the video, because I did that twice.
