I was going to sing this at my sons wedding. Unfortunately, he passed away by suicide before that could happen. This is the first time since that night I have been able to listen to this song. Thank you. This warmed my heart. Not hearing it in it's original format made it closer.

Utmost professionalism dude, he was amazing at setting up. I don't play an instrument but I'm musically gifted, as insane as that sounds, and always wanted to be the guy that makes it an amazing show, but didn't want to be the center of attention. I didn't see it as possible as a kid so always remained an obsessed fan and this man made the lane himself!!

My favorite cover of “simple man” is from Deftones.

The guitarist was familiar enough to throw together a recognizable mix, but major props to the singer for adjusting the original vocals to fit the tempo change. And nice improv solos by the guitarist as well!

This is awesome but sad that there's not a thousand people in that field cheering you on. You both freaking rock 🤘

Simple man was the favourite song of my closest cousin, who was also my best friend and personal hero. He was a few years older than me, he taught me a million things. That's crazy, one of my best friends od on heron in 2009. I was trying to mentor him and keep him off the d but I couldn't beat his family and trash friends that jist couldn't be happy bein a simple kind of man. It was less than a year after I touched down after 3 years in tdc. I gave him my favorite shirt about a month before he passed 3 days after my birthday and it was his favorite shirt so he was buried in it to simple man. I would rather be simple than a complex busy person that's never happy with the simple things in life. Rip Roy Moon. Love you lil bro.

I think the word you’re looking for is “quaver”; they both can mean to tremble, but quiver is usually related to an unintentional emotional response (e.g., quivering with fear) while quaver is the musical term.

My dad left when I was 4 years old . I always thought about him and who he was growing up and eventually went to live with with him in California when I was 11. He was a one in a billion personality. He played this song to me when I was 12 years old and sang every word. He told me whenever I’m lost or don’t know what to do to listen to this song to get back on track. He passed away in 2021 from heart failure…I couldn’t be there because I was In another country but my uncle FaceTimed me and we played this song as he passed. That was incredible. It kinda seemed like you hadn't heard the song in a while, remembered/figured it out on the spot, didn't play it note for note, and made it a little faster, but still nailed the feeling, and he just went right along with it without skipping a beat and changed the singing up to fit the style perfectly. Just pure talent, all the way around, on both ends.

This was actually an incredible performance

My brother got a good voice that was awesome singing a Lynyrd Skynyrd song Simple Man he really did a good job he put his own spin on it that was really cool good job man that's a great classic song you got to listen to the band Shinedown do simple man awesome I think you'll like it a lot

I actually got to sing this one at a local bar one night, the lead singer was not feeling well and asked if anyone knew this song, it was my first time performing in front of an audience but I think I did a pretty good job if it and it's one of those moments in life that I'll always remember.. good times🎉🎉

My 24 year old daughter sings and plays guitar in an all female Aerosmith tribute band that gigs almost every weekend in local Denver bars. It all started when she was in middle school and after I sat her down in front of my rather elaborate audio system, and subjected her to high wattage Pink Floyd therapy - LMAO!

amen. I'm sure you know as well as I do that no record recorded in the past probably 20 years will still be listened to heavily 50 years from now. Yet there are loads of classic rock albums that you actually see kids listening to now, ie. Dark Side of the Moon, Are You Experienced?, Abbey Road, etc

I have never heard this man sing, but let me tell you, i would like to hear him sing more often! And that’s right SING. His voice is good! And that is rarity to those of us who grew up singing along to motown and the early passionate music that took real talent. You either had it, or you didn’t make it. This man has the raw deal and it is good to the ears. Thanks. And the on the fly improv jam on the one man band’s part is admirable, it drew some attention too. Thanks

Overwhelmed by how talented both of these people are.

WHAT. A. VOICE.... this guy touches something inside of me when he sings... bc of what he's feeling... making that connection is the "it factor".... dude's got it in spades ♠️

One of my daughters favorite songs to play and sing. One day we were about to get in the car when a guy stopped on his motorcycle wanting to buy something he saw we had. We talked and found out he played and sang also, so I ran in and got her guitar. She let him play this song and she sang the words while he added some background humming. It was really great. We had to go ahead and leave. He rode off smiling as much as we were. It was just one of those times people gather around music, sharing a moment, something spontaneous that only happens on its own.
