He's crazy talented.

I just came across this video and was amazed at how quickly he put the arrangements together. He then handed the microphone off and cut back to the single beat. I am not sure where in my heart it came from but the tears started flowing. I'm 59, was a Alaska commercial fishermen for many years, work in construction, and hunt. A guys guy. Maybe the War in Ukraine that just started has something to do with them(tears). I remember this happening only one other time years ago by husband and wife street musicians. Boy, does music move. I disagree. He deserves at least 95% of the credit. Without the musical talent and skill of the musician, the vocalist would never have been heard. I get tired of the vocalist always getting all, or most, of the credit and the ones that worked their asses of to master their instruments being left behind. Me? I'm a singer, but also one that knows music and instrumentalists very, very well as I have been in the business since the mid 70's. I retired in March after a year of waiting for things to open up after Covid put us out of work. At least you did credit the musician, which very few seem to do these days, and for that I am grateful.

She wasn’t even born yet and because of people like her, and the amazing musician, this music LIVES!

I've actually seen her before, singing on a metal version of "Africa" & agree that she is indeed awesome.

Following him quite some time now one thing I have noticed is his beautiful spirit. Never once have I heard him discouraging anyone who wants to share what talent they have and he does his best to draw out that talent to make people sound their best! Dovydas has been in inspiration to me ever since the first video I have watched of him. Keep sharing the joy of music!

For something as spontaneous as this, you have to genuinely admire both their skills and talents. Two complete strangers crossing paths gifting those who were extremely fortunate to witness this live event in person. Glad it's on KZread because this is what I call music for the heart and soul. for being put on the spot to sing a song dug up from memory, she did an OUTSTANDING job. Sweet voice that is very easy to listen to with some great control

Love how the guy used his drum machine to mesh all the sounds together, and this was LIVE, no second takes!! Man you rocked out!! Guitar solo and all!!

I don't know whether she steals the show or not, but I think the guitarist is amazing. He practically set all the necessary background music all by himself, plus doing all the killer riffs on his guitar.

Yep John you right, the guy is good. Listen 2 his clip covering Lynnard Skinnards Simple Man. Beats this 1 hands down, the girl wasn't bad but she's not familiar with how Journey arranged the high notes. Hard 2 cover Steve Perry. The man singing in Simple Man has a voice that rivals VanSants. The guitarist really feeds off him & it shows. He knew he had found a real singer with a unique voice. They timed perfectly & so clean making you think it was a studio recording.

I love to watch how the crowd stop and smiling , snuggled up to their love ones to hold them as they enjoyed the music. What a great to get people to stop and take a moment . When he gets someone too step out of their box and sing like that. These are memory they will always .

Dovydas has a really awesome voice (without using autotune), He has the bluesy type of voice like Greg Allman (RIP) had.

“Katie and the Das” = Class A synergy. When I ran across this on KZread and heard Kates's voice together with the one known as “DOVYDAS” who hit those Journey riffs like a Chuck Berry Johnny B Goode doppelgänger, I had visions of David Gilmore and Dovydas greatness all through my head!

I applaud this young lady. To get up in front of a crowd, belt out a song with different rhythms of music, to a classic song? FANTASTIC

Wow!!!! When she went high I got goosebumps!!! And that guitar solo!!! The goosebumps still haven’t stopped!!!

He's definitely good but we have to look at two there that we're getting used to so much of the computer music which is a lot of repetition I'm not saying that he can he can do something that's easy that's incredible how fast you can put it together he's become the virtuoso but I'm sure love to hear his stuff that he's creating off the top of his head these sounds you're hearing bringing tears to people's eyes are somewhat created by other people my fruit salad just went sour damn grapes went bad oh well

Considering the amazingly epic guitar solo and the great control over that lots of gear, i would not necessarely say the singer stole the show, but she did very very good. Beautiful voice!
