There's another "Katie" doing some Fleetwood Mac cover on this channel after this video. Your "original take" , has so much " originality & uniqueness". I, selfishly, would hope you take time to remake that song . First, that song rocks, but the uniqueness would be , it being sung from a woman's perspective!! You have Talent . Enough to nail an internet hit 🎯. Make some music, Make some loot, buy some investment and reap some extra happiness for what you put out there. Look at Reese Hamilton's version, acoustic, slower, meloncoly, but so seductive coming from a woman's perspective. IMHO, that caters to the male ego. Well, my opinion, your talent, it's a possibility that I hope you might try. Many years have passed since it was a hit, several covers , but an Original ReMake, tastefully done , would get blessed by B.O.C. just as Fleetwood Mac did with Lanier Garner cover. This Era, way more people make it in entertainment due to persistence and and dedication than talent. Consider ClearChannel's Philosophy. Their Focus Groups don't worry about what people "like", they only want to know what people won't turn away from. What kind of BS is that?? Super talanted guy....always amazes me how quick he can listen to a track and just play it....with your improvisation making it sound better than the original.

She has been in a band in the past. Very good. Takes some talent to put together an entire band and play a song you do not know. My hat is off to you.

You’re absolutely correct. As a former classically trained professional musician, no matter what language you speak, the notes, time signature, tempo, etc., say the same thing. One of the few mediums that allow for individual interpretation w/o judgement.

@andydguitar Dovy should boast that he can play a base line that Davy can't. And to add insult to injury tell Davy his name is spelled wrong.

Katie, I hope you get your confidence . Your a special person. To be able to stand up and sing so beautiful. The world needs your voice more than ever right now. Thanks for sharing this . I think she has the confidence. It shows when she didn't know the words and she was able to improvise to make it sound great. She definitely knows what she is doing and past training has paid off.

The fact you can play the song just by listening to the music itself is insane. I can do that on a piano and a little on Guitar but my friend have mastered it. Great twist on songs as well

Yes it’s a lot of dedication and self discipline to commit to a lifestyle like he has so balanced with everything else going on. It’s not easy to master that I adore this as well. I want to do so much more, just the same . Takes a lot Of energy and willful desire .
