1985 Frankfurt Germany. I was waiting to be shipped to my permanent station when 3 complete strangers picked up a bass, a guitar, and sticks, and did exactly this for about an hour. It was awesome.

That is a very talented young musician. I designed pro audio equipment, did trade shows like NAMM and AES. We did a lot of live sound gigs,over twenty years in NorCal. It is the only way to learn about audio. Meet a lot of talented people and Mixed Live Shows. This guy has promise.

The HUGE and constant smile on that boy's face was priceless!! Super excellent jam session.!!! Thank you so much for sharing this happy memory.

Excitement? That was pure joy!

The kid was brilliant. And Dovydas made sure that the kid wasn't sidelined. There was sheer happiness on his face when he was freaking out and enjoying himself. That's what they call a labor of love for music.

Jakes good. Real good. Not only his mechanical skill, but his ear for the vibe, his give and take and how rapidly he could build upon what came before or what Dovydas played. Kids seasoned.

That kid has the genuine soul and blues. He's not just technical, he's got the feel.

This kid is killer....it's not so much what he plays , as what he doesn't play. He avoids obvious runs and root notes, surprising you with unexpected tones and choices...killer!

yes, he is not afraid of competition, he seems to hunger for it, he brings out the best of the best and is professional about it.

Dudes, this was E P I C ! You could really tell you both just got in a zone and were feeding off eachother. Jake is great, he's obviously super talented. Even my cat came over and sat on my shoulder to listen.

This is real music. Just raw feelings. As soon as he got in stage he said it feels like a f minor day.

When someone says to you "it feels like an Fm kind of night" you know it's gonna be a good jam.

This is how music happens! Doing it with a smile, inspiring each other and building upon each other's ideas. You need some soul and talent for that and the kid has both. Great to see someone who actually helps the other person get their 5 minutes by playing WITH instead of simply taking it all for yourself. A sign of a great person. You helped us get through the pandemic, you keep on making us enjoy these gigs.

Non-music lovers will never understand the epic beauty of freestyle jams. When I hung out with people who played instruments, it almost always ended up being a freestyle jam. This was back before cellphones, so it is quite sad that such epic music only happened once, but at least the joy was effused into the air for a while.

Same here. I played with a friends band in Oahu one summer and the freestyle jams were the most enjoyable part. Sometimes it was hard to end them because they were so fun and we were all in the groove.

That was great to watch. Both played so well and it must have been really fun for the younger man to get a chance to perform and show how good he can be. I admire Dovydas not only for his amazing skill in the guitar and with that seemingly small array of equipment, but also his ability to collaborate. Seems like a great musician as well as a really good person.

He reeks of stardom. If he doesn't become a star within a year, peoople are crazy. But, he will, he gots the looks, the talent the grace-ness to help other new comers, he's got everything, good luck, only he really doesn't need it.
