What I’ve learned about madden is that it really takes no real football iq skills to play the game the key to plying madden like any other game is to find all the hacks and glitches within the game like super star abilities and the plays that match.

In my experience in Madden, most of these "killer defenses" people use are beatable if offenses STOP running nothing but Medium and Deep passes.

If you know that someone stubborn is going to use deep passes 90+ percent of the time when on offense, just about any umbrella-like defense will work out. It is the old story of an offense "going to the well" once too often. It is the same thing if someone stubborn insists on running up the middle 90 percent of the time. Anything akin to a goal line defense, or even an actual goal line defense once in a while, can cause a lot of 3rd downs with 5 or more yards remaining to get to the 1st down marker. Short version: If the same offensive play gets used over and over and over again, unless there is some gap in defensive ability due to injury, there is always a good counter that the defense can make use of. Of course, if a couple of injuries cause an unusually severe gap in some defensive ability, then it can be justifiable if the offense uses pretty much the same play over and over and over again to take advantage of an unfixable gap in the defense.

Damn them quick audibles are incredible had no idea. That was possible without switching characters

Spamming 1 or 2 plays to me really isn't strategy it's more of a glitch still and always in the game. With that being said I do love the 46 playbook. Favorite one by far. Oddly enough that formation he uses is the one I use the least out of all the Nickel/Dime formations.

Been watching Henry’s tournament games recently and him being in a Man with Zones coverage in certain parts of the field was something I noticed in slow motion … pretty smart and I like it

So Henry is a glitcher and these so-called "Pros" don't run the ball enough. Got it.

I 100% trust this man's opinion. SpruceGoose proved his legitimacy to me when I saw him comment on a previous video that Madden 2007 was the best Madden. I've been saying that forever and somehow it slipped through the cracks. A lot of people say 2005 was the best but I thought that one was awful ESPN 2k5 was far superior and EA knew it that's when they bought the rights to the players/teams.

If they get rid of all these glitched plays a lot of pro players would be trash

Civil talked about that slant and it didn't look like that was consistent to get the bump inside especially from how the cb turned his hips

My friends and I call that "Getting Maddened". That CB had absolutely no business getting that interception. The game had decided the CB was getting that pick and made him levitate to the right spot.

At 3:56 that's actually a good throw. In real life a quarterback would actually throw the ball over the receiver's shoulder with an arch. It's a shame NFL 2K5 still does this better than Madden today.

It's a fun game I still enjoy the older maddens. There are so many glitches in this game all you have to do is know them and what defense and offense to use on some of these glitches and you become very good.

Although i agree the interceptions and momentum implementing is buggy and glitchy af, I’m pretty sure most games are actually won by knowing wtf you’re doing.

@@mitocorleone4845 The game has a lot of glitches. You can intercept the ball with a defensive line men. You have line backers intercepting the ball 5 yards away. You have CB diving for 5 yard to intercept the ball lol. If you know how to play with the glitches on both sides of the ball. You can run two plays on defense and offense and be very good that way. The defensive glitches are telling. They put CBs and free safeties as line backers put a zone defense but they make glitches adjustments so they can play really man coverage stuff the middle and fill the gaps on zone. It becomes almost impossible to throw the ball. The only to beat it is If you know how to adjust to those glitches and exploit it. If you're some 12 or 14 year old kid who has no life and plays madden23 all day long has no life you can become really good at playing a glitche game. I work 60 hrs a wk I just play for fun that's that.

At 3:45, if I’m the offensive player, I’d take my RB and move him over to the right. If they was in man, you’d see some adjustments. He can still stay in and block, but at least you’d get a visual of the adjustments

This is exactly why I play tempo and snap quick so the defense can have little time to adjust every signal player. Most of these offensive ppl allowed all the time for Henry to adjust

Somebody ran this defense on me earlier and it sucked until I started cooking them with the read option. Those safeties in the box are awful at getting off blocks and they always commit to stopping the running back. I've beat some of the top 10 ranked people I feel like I could take this guy

henry should really be a coach.

Me personally I like to do a lot of substitutions in my nickel I like to have some big mobile dnd's but my best is the dime formation why put my to athletic linebackers on the side in two of my most athletic big men up front a tall safety or corner with my shortest safety side and I play that linebacker spot and drop them into coverage depending on which side the running back is on works like a champ every time been doing this since the 90s what is the best underrated never heard of Madden players you can never go up again only been playing it since it came out in the early 90s 92

Madden needs to just stop the safety sub if they can’t fix the blocking vs safeties

Press defense slant out but do You pinch the line ? Spread linebackers?

The difference between a random doing this and Henry is Henry can adjust the scheme to pretty much eliminate any offense… wish madden brought back the madden 20 rushing game where it was actually fun to run the ball… but madden 22 with the letting go of accel boost was really annoying

Here's my two issues in madden: you can run that same play where the qb scrambles right or left and his his receiver on that slant towards the sideline over and over on me and I can't guard it. And on offense, I can't score on good players. No matter where I throw the ball or run the ball, there is someone guarding it.

I don’t need to take advantage of glitches lol. I read keys and just understand alignments and route possibilities out of the alignment. My opponent pretty much running the same thing also makes it easy.

This is just making players that can’t be allowed in specific spots actually be there and glitching out animations. Madden is such a bad game

I hate that blitz. I never can get home with those 5 man rushes

If you're reading the safety 2 high middle of the field or go under use motions to gain leverage and the deep ball is there on the outside so challange under to the sidelines or middle which will force man2man and then run the ball

Well you can run whenever as long as the front itself gives you an advantage. 2 high= run 90% of the time. 1 high throw quick outside, they are out leveraged

@@E3litecompany was fun, the reason I got banned was actually because I was using hurry up to disrupt a players adjustments, looked at the rules after, turns out that yeah, 15 seconds needed to run off the clock between plays outside the 4th quarter
