Mechanics of this game is so arcade SMH CJ Stroud a real QB even said it's not realistic and simulation is supposed to mimic the NFL not have these goofy mechanics so you spam stretch zone, real run plays in NFL that mainly get ran are power traps and counters those run plays in Madden are trash you get hit in the backfield or minimum gains stopped by dollar a pass defense SMH this game is a scam

In all honesty, this is something I would have NEVER realized

Sometimes Slow is the better play as that delay can confuse the defense. Main reason why you should have different speed receivers. If you have a 99 and 95, 97, 94 the all attack the field different and this can also help with check downs. If everyone is a 99 in theory they may all launch the same time and it’s easier to cover them. Usually you always see the fastest receiver first.

hmm never thought about it like that, especially on a vertical route where they all just run straight down field

well that sucks because with Vick when I run RPOs I'm throwing mostly to my right since he's a lefty but most of the run options on those plays have the RB running from right to left/middle

Honestly this info really only helps if ur running pa out of gun, idk but when the rb is lined up opposite of throwing hand the pa animation takes way longer and most the time there’s already a defender in ur lap if u don’t cancel the pa

the fast under center play looked like it was run to the the QBs non throwing hand

Did you mix up the under-center animation or is the run supposed to go opposite of the handedness? Cause something is off.

QB uses right hand to hand off left and vice versa.

You can think whatever you want. Four years ago the pro player Joke famously kept a left handed punter on his roster so he could sub him in for handoffs to the left. He did this in the Madden Bowl and won the whole thing lol. You can Google "Madden punter at QB" to read more about it.
