If they stopped changing the controls we wouldn't have this issue. At one point it mad you start taunting and if a defender even breathed on you it was a fumble so I haven't touched the button since. Glad to see its back to being a useful modifier button

In old maddens that dive tackle wouldve got you 99% of the time. Maddens animations fuckin suck ever since they switched engines around 2013

The “why” is: He’s more than likely to return it for a TD or at least get really good field position vs being placed on the 25 yd line. He’s obviously pretty good at returning.

@@odm87 you can’t do it consistently though. If you pay attention to the video, you’ll see that there were missed “user” tackles. The guy missed some key tackles and made that hole available. It was a good return but using hard cuts like that won’t work every return. I’d give it 15%

I feel like kickoffs finally have a risk reward to them for a while you could never return one but now you can return them somewhat frequently but there is a higher fumble chance than in years past.

Most players just kick to your fullback which is cheese , I always kick right down the middle and yeah I’ve had a few go for td’s but honestly most of the time I end up getting a tackle inside the 25 , meanwhile people kick to the fullback so I put my fastest TE there and always pick return left and get it to midfield most kickoffs and past the 30 on others

I almost always kick left and try to either sky kick it if I got the wind w me and pin them inside the 20 or if the wind ain’t w me I kick it normal just hard as possible and try to pin them that way bc the angle usually puts it right about the beginning of the end zone and most players can’t resist to bring it out

On 20 is was pretty easy. But 22 and 23 are much more difficult (against the computer, this guy is playing against a person who probably sucks lol)
