You two have spoiled our Amarok. Now it knows all these amazing places in the south west where we usually take our Land Rover. She will be demanding to go on our next road trip. It has been an absolute pleasure having you both stay with us. Hearing from you about all the off camera adventures has inspired us to make our own trip very soon. Many laughs over the dinner table and the brutal games of Dog (by Brandi) that brings out our inner competitor. Now Albo is here in our driveway, it is hard to believe that the legend exists and it is here. Bon voyage and enjoy this vast sunburned continent.

What an amazing country there in Western Australia. I have rarely seen a more beautiful set of beaches anywhere, and none of them overrun with commercialism. Plus, the Stirling Range looked really cool.

That tree was crazy,scary and awesome all at the same time! Waiting for for Albo to be released would have had me stressed to the max. I think it’s awesome how you can travel to a different country and or continent and still run into some you’ve met some where else in your travels. And your host is definitely a grate guy.

There is an amazing tree top walk in this area where you can walk up in the canopy of these tall giants and have a Birds Eye view of the world.

Thanks Ron! Yes the wait for albatross was really a bummer it got us stuck and stressed cause you have no idea how long it a going to last. Making it impossible to plan or predict anything. But now that it’s out we ve just been working non stop early morning to evening to get it ready!

Loved the scenery and music! I'm sure the slower pace to start was a good thing!

The southwest has some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. 14 years ago I did the same road trip, just the other way around. It brought back memories to see the places I’d visited again. Enjoy your travels around Australia. The outback can be very monotonous, but it’s about the mindset; just settle into the drive and chill. It’s wonderful. I’m jealous!!😂

Those really are beautiful, white, sandy beaches, and clear blue seas, Why are you not tempted to swim or even have a paddle? Is the water perhaps quite cold? I guess because you have a nice shower in your VW You don’t need to swim, but even sitting here, watching from my bed I’m tempted to get into that sea.😉 Thank you again to Franz for loaning your van to Nick and Matilda, and for slow cook them kangaroo stew. AUSTRALIA never lets you down when traveling there for the verity of its land scapes and wild life . And spectacular camping spots . It is very difficult to find Fosters in Aus. In the west we drink Emu Export (Bush Chook) in Queensland it’s XXXX (they cannot spell beer) not sure NSW knows what they drink, in Vic it’s VB and SA Coopers. ACT and NT, to be discovered

Good question! It was actually quite cold! Mathilde did swim more north at the level of Perth but down south it really is the southern ocean surrounding the Antarctica so it gets chilly especially as winter is coming there

I hope this is who she is in reality and that will make the perfect person if i may say. She's happily smiles and beautiful, with her mellifluous voice and sparks eyes. 12 days which is quite a bit longer than usual. What got us scared is the “on hold status “ cause you never know how long it can take and you pay storage fee everyday without being able to control anything

Great video, I do like the old production a bit more the way Matilde made the videos herself but I do like the captions to the places you are at. Still enjoy watching the content… & Matilde I’m assuming you’re not vegan any more? What made you want to go back to eating meat? Just curious, I’m vegan myself.
