Last week wild camping and overloading in Finland with our DEFENDER (EP 14 - World Tour Expedition)
Last week we offroaded with our #landrover #defender through the north of #Finland/#Suomi: the Finnish Lapland. This week we continue south east and show you some of the nicest #wildcamping we have done. In this country, it is so easy to find amazing spots... We then headed west to meet with some family friends who welcomed us to their farm. The past days since we entered Finland we stayed in such remote places we did not meet anyone. So meeting Finns was a way for us to understand better the country. We finished the week heading south toward #Helsinki and started the preparation of the car ahead of its shipping to #Germany. In the next episode we will finalise the cleaning and fixing of albatross for its shipping to Canada and leave it in Hambourg. Finland is a magic country with most beautiful good hearted people, I lived in helsinki 6 years and i call it the journey of life, one thing is unfortunate the summer is short in finland

Your videography is so good! I am really enjoying seeing these places that I have been curious about. For myself, I want to go to warm and tropical places. You show everything with a nice balance of commentary, music, and adventure.

Suomi on kaunis ! First of all, thank you for your wonderful movies ! Finnish Lakeland region is best visited / explored by boat. We've had the chance to spend a week with seakayak and tent on lake Saaima. It was wonderful to glide in midsummer at midnight when there is no more wind at all through a totally calm environnement. By the way, sauna is so important for Finnish people that even pleasure boats of only about 10 m of length have wood fire heated on-board saunas. Bon voyage !

It is amazing we love that it is so strong in Finnish culture. it is true we would have loved to be more in the water in that area. that will be for another time!

Bonjour, oui c’est facile avec ce cric. Il me semble que c’est celui du defender d’origine, j’ai pas la référence pour le produit et la voiture est dans le bateaux pour le Canada 😊
The everyman's right permit fishing with a rod with a bobber and a hook with bait on it. If you want to use lures (as you have) you have to be either under 18 or over 65 or have paid for a fishing license (kalastonhoitomaksu: 45€/year, 15€/week or 6€/day). It's really not a terrible offense but you could get 100€ ticket.

Considering they visited outdoors store to buy the fishing gear, i'd expect that the salesman explained it to them.

Also, you should sterilize your fishing rods when using it in different lakes etc
