First time watching one of your videos and I hope to be exploring Hwy 395 in a week or so. I'll definitely stop buy one of the mentioned locations pick up some jerky for my backpacking trips in the area. The flavors look exciting. That was a beautiful campsite. I hope to camp a little west of Bishop, heading towards Mammoth and would be lucky to find a spot that beautiful.

OMG Guys! We were just at the Shell there in Pearsonville this past weekend! We just glanced around the store and completely missed your jerky! I'm hoping because it was all sold out! LOL! We'll be sure and check closer next time by! We hit locked gates at the Fire Station on Sherman Pass at about 8000 feet up past Kennedy Meadows and turned around. Ended up going through Chimney Creek and stopped at Tillie Creek on Lake Isabella. Went up Sherman Pass on the west side the next day and hit the snow line again about 8000 feet. Trying to find our way into Monache Meadows.

Me and my son bought Deep Sleep 4 Jeeps. Both only lasted 3 to 4 trips. One got a leak and the intake valve came off. I don’t recommend them. Unless they’ve changed them

What makes it ‘tricky’?
@CaliforniaEMS
24 күн бұрын
It’s not really tricky. You just have to know where to go. I’ve stayed at this exact same spot last year in September. Amazing views. I mapped it on google earth. We had a 2wd truck and 2wd SUV. Didn’t need to air down. Easy trail. Took about 30 minutes off road to get here.
