Mapping 300.000km around the world! (EP 2 - World Tour Expedition @nextmeridian.expedition)

→ Join us on our daily adventures on Instagram: / nextmeridian.expedition
Hello again! As promised our second video is out ! And today we are presenting to you our ITINERARY ↖️⤵️↘️⬇️➡️⤴️.
Okay... it is more of a tentative route 〰️ with still a lot of pending questions ❓ but we believe it gives already a pretty good idea.
Most of all it is a topic on which we hope you will be able to help us! 🔮 We would like to hear from your stories and learn from your experiences to get a better grasp on this itinerary. We believe strongly that it is by exchanging with friends, fellow travelers and complete strangers 👨🏾‍🦱🧕🏼👦🏻👳🏾‍♀️👩🏽‍🦱 👩🏻‍🦰that you learn the most.
🖊 For us doing this step of finally drawing the line has been a key step in our preparation. It made everything feel suddenly more concrete. Although, in practice we fear that the administrative paperwork ahead of us will be the real wake up call 🗂📑🧾
We hope you ll enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed sharing this with you - Share some love and ideas in comments to help us make this project a success !
Video 1: • How we decided to leav...

Join us as we travel the world on an expedition throughout the 7 continents, meeting new people, exploring cultures and traditions and making friends along the way.
We are traveling in our Land Rover Defender 110 which is our full time home for the next 3 years as we explore this beautiful planet.

We would be delighted to host you both. Because, we are also full time travellers meeting both of you would be an honour. Since a year we are also planning diving in The UK, Europe, Canada and North America. But, after watching your videos the tour programme is about to change adding Central and South America including Africa and Middle East. Thanks for sharing your extensive experience that has motivated and inspired us. Looking forward to meeting you guys. Namaste

Rock on you guys! So I have a ton of questions, but I'll talk with you on Clubhouse Nicolas. Having said that, one question I do have is that you mention all continents, and only shipping the vehicle twice. I'm guessing you aren't planning on going to Antarctica then? Also just as a note for you to research. The rules and regulations for temporarily importing a vehicle into Australia are stringent to say the least. You may want to look at that a bit more. For us, our route is different than yours. But we plan to ship our vehicle from Asia back to the USA and then fly to Australia and either buy or rent a vehicle for our Australian portion of the journey. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions after you look into it. But man, so happy for you and Mathilde! You guys are going to have a blast, and we want an invite to that party at the end of the trip! ~ Eric

Suffice to say Vladimir Putin put a quick wrench in this plan.. but actually for the better you got to the Americas sooner and did so right from Europe. I can't imagine the cost to ship your car from Australia all the way to Alaska! I do not know what you knowledge is about this area but Israel have crossable borders only with Egypt and Jordan. to cross to Israel from Egypt you will have to do it from Sinai to Eilat. When time will arrive - if you will need any recommendation/questions about Israel - don't hesitate to ask. Goodluck!

Hi Felice, we will be sleeping in our car most nights, most probably 6 nights a week. We will book the occasional hostel/hotel to refreshen our clothes and car. Albatross (the car) is equipped with a shower, sink, bed and cooking system, Albo will be our home on wheels. We will sleep wherever the sun sets :) In our next video, we will be presenting you Albo, and will be going through the installations and equipment we have for the travel.

Excellent route. You will love Nepal. Kathmandu is amazing. Spend a few days there, and visit Patan. If your schedule allows, take a small plane to Lukla, and spend a night or two in some of the villages. Kathmandu is really a great place for stuff. Some awesome hand embroidered tee shirts, cashmere, and jewellery. I stayed in both the Summit hotel in Latlipur, Kathmandu. And the Greenwich village hotel. Both an oasis of calm from the madness that is Kathmandu. Got some locations you can visit if you need anything
