I had a "IEP" throughout middle school and high school. I was placed in all special education classes. While at school, I was embarrassed and ashamed for people to even see me walking into a classroom of 6 students everyday. I had a teacher in middle school that told me community college was probably the best I would do after high school. 11 years later I graduated with a 3.3 GPA without no special need program with a Bachelor's of science degree in Criminal Justice and now in school with a 4.0 GPA going for my Master's of science degree. The moral of my story is never let anyone define who you are or what you want to become in life . Keep working hard and stay dedicated a passionate about your future and craft. God bless you all!!

I grew up extremely broke. My parents both worked two jobs and could barely supply for my 5 siblings and myself. They were both immigrants so there was no one to teach me English. I remember as a kid I wanted to read a book but my parents didn't know how and my older siblings never wanted to read to me. So at the age of 2 I bothered my brother until he sounded out each letter of the alphabet for me and I sat down and read through The Little Engine That Could. And then I read more and more. The highest math my father knew was multiplication. After he finished teaching me I was at the library every day I could and read and worked through math textbooks until my parents forced me to go home. All through high school I was hungry. I remember once, during lunch, I saw a cookie on the ground with a shoe print in it. Everyone was just walking over it but I stopped, pretended to tie my shoes, and then scraped the cookie off the floor and ate it. I went to the hospital two times for malnutrition. I graduated high school at 102 pounds and struggled through every course that the teacher couldn't teach well because I had to teach myself and my parents weren't rich enough to afford a tutor like so many other privileged kids. Don't believe me? Go to any affluent area of the town and stop by a cafe or a Barnes and Noble on the weekends or the evenings and you're almost likely to see an older man or woman tutoring a high school student of privilege, slowly going through trig or algebra or calculus. Meanwhile I had to sit alone in my room in the moonlight writing on my palimpsest of a napkin papers because we couldn't afford paper. You are not the sum of your circumstances. If you let those around you and the events that transpire around you and the situation of your emplacement dictate who and what you are then you will never amount to anything greater.

This brought tear to my eyes. My daughter has being battling a diagnosis of mild learning disability and recently was re-evaluated told she was performing at a 5 grade level but in fact she’s in 10th grade. But was puzzling is that she’s doing extremely well in school and even made to the 3.0 club and her GPA is at 3.44. I jus don’t know what to do or what to believe anymore. God help us.

Everybody I know has a chill, relaxed life, I don't complain much, I don't envy them, but it'd be easier if I could talk to someone who's in the same struggle as me. But I gotta get through, I will, I know it

Listen, Ball is Life. Something you have to understand is that even though you may say that everyone you know is chill, that is far from reality. You say you don't complain much. Have you ever stopped think in someone else's position. What they are most likely thinking is: "This guy seems chill and content. he doesn't complain often and he never seems to feel any stress." The truth is, everyone else is thinking the same thing you are. They think they're alone, think that everyone around them has no problems or stresses, oblivious to the fact that it's simply not the case. Always try to think about how other people look at you is the same way you look at them

To anyone who finds this video and dislikes it, I'm not talking about pressing the button I'm talking about legitimately does not appreciate it or finds no worth in it's meaning; I pity you. No one person is so blessed or so cursed that they cant find merit in what he is communicating. Hard work is the only ingredient to success, you might not be able to succeed at what you want but if you are willing to put in effort there will always be opportunities for you. If you are the kind of person who complains about how their parents, their teachers or their employers failed them; then you are a failure in progress. I have had several dreams and aspirations for my life. I wanted to serve in the military; I enlisted and then got sent home after fracturing my leg. I wanted to be a film-maker, I found sparse work as a writer but couldn't commit the time needed while working full time, couldn't find enough work unless I wanted to relocate my whole life. I eventually entered a skilled trade, within two years I was running my own crew; I am starting year two of journeymans school and next year I will be looking to put money down on a house. You don't have to succeed all at once, little victories over the course of your life mixed in with failures is the only path anyone has ever followed. I am telling you that failure is the best springboard to doing something right. Have a wonderful day.

God ministered to me in a revelation when I was on your profile to see things around you,I saw blessings but spiritual attacks holding onto them,in prayers,i saw a woman in the realm of the spirit monitoring and plotting delay in your life, with an evil mirror, and with motive to destroy. But as I speak to you now her time is up, Render hand of favour with Anything you can afford or give to these motherless foundation (Saviour MOTHERLESS FOUNDATION) in kebbi State Nigeria before 2DAYS with faith, as I Rise my hands towards heaven and pray for you they shall serve as point of contact wherever you are, you will receive double portion of grace to excel and total restoration of breakthrough in your life and in the life of your family. Ask for their acct details and help them call the MD in charge of the orphanage to get their details on (WhatsApp (+2347042116453). or e-mail (saviourfoundation95@gmail.com) tell him I sent you. For it is not by might nor by in power but of the spirit faith the lord (zechariah 4:6). You shall testify to the Glory of God in your life. God bless you.......

Being the first person to graduate in my family, I credited Mr. Brown in my graduation speech for the inspiration to get through. Here I am before three life changing interviews, listening for inspiration again! This never gets old! Thanks for the mental guidance

If you fall, try to land on your back. If you can look up, you can get up. The amount of times I have came close to forever sleeping and that line saved my life. The greatness within me just wouldn't let me pull the trigger because of Les. I owe Les my life and now I am on track to becoming a firefighter and reaching for the stars. Thank you Les. You will forever have your place in my heart.
