Les Brown made a trip from wherever he was to Miami, on a request from my teenage daughter. When he enquired about payment she responded honestly that the church group that she represented had no funds and they could only pay for his accommodations, he was so impressed by the honesty and confidence of this young lady that he saw reason to donate his time for free, even without ever personally meeting anyone in the congregation. That is what I call giving back. Much thanx to this enduring spirit of charity.

I love his teachings. When I first started working in the corporate world, I was so scared. I used to get breakdowns every couple of minutes. I would go to the washroom and cry my eyes out. I decided I wasn't gonna come back to work the following morning. When I walked back to my desk, I went on YT and searched, "how to quit your job with courage." and I came across his video, "have courage". I downloaded it on my phone and listened to it on my way home. Long story short, I didn't quit. And this job turned out to be one of the most beautiful things I have done.

I'm from Miami and lived in the streets struggling with addiction for over 35 years now. I heard of the service's in N.Y. City and made my way up there because I demanded a better quality of life for myself. I put myself into residential treatment and have been clean and sober for over 19 months now. Yesterday I signed a lease for my own apartment and move in Feb the 1st. I've been watching Impact Theory for 16 months now and has helped me with my recovery more than Tom will ever know. I grew up in Hialeah, FL and worked a few blocks away from Liberty city where Mr. Les Brown is from. Liberty City is THE most poverty stricken and violent part of S. FL. Even cops don't go in there unless they are related to someone who lives there. Booker T. Washington HS is a real tough school. If Mr. Brown was able to climb out of there and become the man he is today, any one of us can do the same!

Les Brown’s lectures got me through the bar exam when I hit a low point and didn’t think I can pass. Today I am a successful attorney! Thank you Mr Brown for being one of my great inspirations and mentors!

This man kept me going when i was in prison. After listening to him i wrote a book called, Success & Wealth through the bible; till i published it during my term of incarceration. This man really changed my life for the better. And that is why i am here in the early hours in the morning from South Africa listening to him because i know what he did for me. I respect Les Brown a lot and his talks and voice are stuck in my subconscious mind forever.

You could start with the program NVC - Non-Violent Communication. It's a book and audiobook, there are accompanying workbooks, and there are weekend 2-day courses provided in many cities. There's also many hours of free material on youtube. It's a game changer. (I'm only 5 mins into the vid so far, so don't know if he mentioned it)

I"m listening to this a year later of this interview. .This is one of the most powerful ones I have ever heard. The tears are rolling down my face as I listen to Mr. Les Browns and at the same time, I laugh along with him. He has really inspired me so much. I find myself at a crossroads now in my life, but listening to Mr. Brown I at least have a direction now. so thank you for having him on your show.

I came from vacation and was terminated from my job of 22 1/2 years. I should've been devastated but my faith in God & all Les Brown speeches I've listen to helped. It was the condition of my mind. Something just clicked for me hearing him comparing negative thoughts to weeds that can't be killed. Hearing that it's not something you're supposed to eliminate but that it's something like a daily chore that just needs to be done. It makes more sense to me now

I love Les Brown. I've been listening to him for ages. Many years ago I remember when he was trying to save up enough money because it was his dream to buy his Mamma a house - and he did❤️❤️❤️

I can’t get enough of his voice and his message ! I wish he will put out more videos . There was a time I relied on his messages to keep me going when I was at my worst .

I just can not wrap my mind around Les being now 77 now 😲 He's 75 here and looks, and moves like he's 20 years younger! A beautiful spirit is the secret to youthfulness I believe. Absolutely incredible! 😃

This man has taught generations .......His voice and energy never changed......His style of motivation is definitely unique!

Watching this again and it’s as impactful today as when I first saw this video. Everything he has said is on a whole another level. I can tell he has reach a sense of enlightenment in the topic of inner self and mastering a person’s own mind which makes him a good mentor to have because he knows what to look for and give proper advice on how to overcome. I hope there’s will be more interviews done with him on this channel before he he is unable to give them anymore because he is a gem that’s hard to find.

I just lost my mama I’m in a job where I’m not appreciated and being mentally abused by a new girl. I reached out to a mentor took a shot in the dark and she wants to meet on Tuesday. I’m so nervous but after this video I feel like I can walk away from meeting with a new opportunity. I pray I walk in on Wednesday and give my two weeks. I know my pain is ok, this man still cries when talking about his mama, I need to realize how strong I am

I actually cried while watching him talking about his mother... Iam a 120kg big boy from Germany. Iam 22 I went through tough times and I never cry... But this... This is true love

Right there with ya. I tell ya, that man does what he does because he saw the angel in his mama.

When i was going through lung cancer and believing i was at a point of complete shit mentally, I would listen to Les and a few others to put me mentally right, It actually worked very well

I cried when he talked about his mom. That was MOVINNNGGG!

this man broke me out of very tough times.his story gets me everytime

Les Brown's fountain of youth is definitely laughter, wow. I would've never thought he is 75 years old.

I have loved so many guests on these shows, but Les Brown is my favourite. So inspiring, so genuine, so humble.....and he's possibly got the smoothest voice ever! What a man.

Waaaat, Les Brown is 75 years. Woooooooow it's indeed God's blessing for sure. I really loved and enjoyed this talk.
