People not being repulsed by their action, that goes for everybody though, the people here as well and the people who say these phrases. People were quoting Einstein for years, never taking into consideration that they might be part of the group. People don't look into the mirror when it comes to ideologies, it has always been like that.

JP sure is smart, but has lost his marbles by now. Too much hardship in his life probably. Seriously, WW3? And people are cyborgs because you can send their pictures around the world now? And he's talking like judgement day is around the corner. xD Just google top 10 failed doomsday predictions.... I think the Jehovas witnesses stopped predicting judgement day 50 years ago because it gave them a bad name since it never came true. xD Too many talk in this apocalyptic manner, just when I look at my yt recommendations, everythings breaking, the internet is breaking, the dating is breaking, society and population growth is breaking, gaming is breaking, film industry is breaking and a lot of content creators and channels are breaking as well. Too little talk about global warming though... JP essentially wants men to man up harder, work harder and compete harder. Essentially judging them by what they do for society. Ironically, like robots.

Jordan Peterson is a full blown Christian and Christianity in its practice to the fullness (meaning what is actually being taught not what imperfect people say or do) is totally real. Whether Jesus is God or not is beside the point. The point is, do you want to live in a world absent of Christian values or with them. Christianity is real. We can debate whether or not God exists but Christianity does.
@benfontenot9896
Ай бұрын
I was agnostic once: the perfection of Catholic values is what lead me to believe. But what was eye openning about this internal debate is that I don't have to prove to people that God is real. I just need to show people that life is better not sinning than to sin.
@memorandum740
20 күн бұрын
When I get attacked with unbelief thoughts, I always default to what you just said... It's better trying not to sin.. and when you give an effort and wind up sinning anyway, ask for forgiveness and there's always some kind of mercy and forgiveness following it with enough punishment not to destroy you.

Christianity falls apart in many ways if there is no God (or no absolute statement by a Christian that God exists). There really is no point to argue one without the other. The apostle Paul points out how sad and pathetic Christians would be if Jesus was not God in flesh, come to save the adopted children of God from their bondage to sin.
@benfontenot9896

@@memorandum740 Right and the asking for forgiveness makes you think about what you've done and what came about from your sin. This in turn will lead to a more successful life. Dignified Man vs Undignified Man/Red Pill Mindset: A Dignified man will make his money honestly not hurting anyone in the process, and will not bait outwardly beautiful women into his orbit that will not love him for his character. An Undignified man will make his fortune and power play even if it is unethical and hurts others in the process. He will also keep outwardly beautiful women in his life as trophies, not seeing their inner beauty. He will not see the depth of character in himself or anyone else for that matter.

He is close to what I have come to believe. In my opinion, the saddest part of relationships is we have elevated sex to so “sacred” that we can’t communicate about it. It is like money, the thing itself is not an abomination, and worse we don’t learn about it because it’s too sacred. So in private all these physical desires are perceived as sinful and are ridden with guilt and shame. When they actually are the breath of creation. A sexual relationship between partners creates a union that is sacred and cannot exist without the other. For sure it can become something that is only physical and carnal but so can making money. Yet, it can also create a beautiful thing that is bigger than the sum of its parts. For sure, as with everything physical, we have to learn to rein it in, but sex is so hard to discuss that women don’t understand men and men don’t understand women because we are so afraid of becoming headends. Sex isn’t just about not succumbing to temptation and more than nutrition or sleep is. Yes…too much is bad for you, but not enough and, the wrong type will destroy you.

Agree with Dr. Peterson or not, his mind is incredibly interesting. Apparently there is no alternative to "life is suffering and whatever you do, you do to escape suffering". Apparently even if "you choose" to not participate STILL you're doing either you or someone else a disservice. I got incredibly lucky. I don't have to work, I don't interact with others unless is strictly necessary, I don't "actively pursue aquiring a thing or a skill", I am seriously not interested in "trying to figure out what I could become in the future (aka "your maximun potential"). I, for the life of me, cannot even being to be interested in "a future version of me" because it won't even show up in my mind, it doesn't to my mind is just not interesting. I seriously cannot be worried about these things. What I realize I can only do, is to live one day at a time (haven't found any other alternatives) and doing so is absolutely fine with me. STILL it seems that I am also doomed. That even my life looks and feels great it's like NO, I have to be pursuing a thing or a goal or a feeeling or status. Maybe and just maybe whenever this subject shows up in my feed, it's not directed at me? Maybe A LOT of people do actually struggle with these things?

I think that's why sexlessness amongst men is going to increase. As women gain more financial independence from men the need for them in women's lives diminishes. Sex is not something women persue from men it's resources. With men it's the opposite, they need sex. That's why we're in an era of mating miss match. Btw, ever notice why men shame women with degreed and their earning potential... this is why!

Peterson has lost it. All that "you changed my life" feedback has gotten to him and now he sees himself as a prophet of some kind. This clip was around a quarter of an hour, there isn't 2 minutes' worth of substance in it. He used to be more grounded and tended to make points that made sense to people with common sense. Now he has gone too deep into symbolism and uses hyperbolic and pretentious language to make himself sound like he is explaining some grand vision of life and knows the meaning behind everything. He doesn't. I'd still heavily favor him over the other side. I worry he will deteriorate to the point of saying actually crazy stuff that would discredit him.

However young men don't realise this and many will never realise thinking "I'm bad in bed because I can't perform like they do in screen", or they try to mimic it. Jordan Peterson is a full blown Christian and Christianity in its practice to the fullness (meaning what is actually being taught not what imperfect people say or do) is totally real. Very interesting conversation!
Peterson being honest for a second about *his* God - what is useful. He should now be honest with people that when he says "god", he doesn't mean what they mean.
Lust and Love are two poles of the same energy and Lust suffocates love. Love is divine. Love is your only true connection to God. If you develop a relationship from Lust your "Love" will be as shallow as a puddle because you are feeding the animal within you and not nurturing your connection with what is sacred and true.

Tom, please take this suggestion as one made in extreme admiration of your inquisitive and excellent mind, BUT... would you kindly remove the backward cap during your interviews? I'm so sorry to have to say this but any man ( in his 40's or older) that presents this image just automatically loses some intellectual credibility. It's so distractive, that it competes with your otherwise great interviews. Keep up the good work that you do, (without the cap PLEASE.)

You can see Tom doesn't want to agree with Jordan. And then goes on saying it's not about what is true it is about what is useful. So even if it is not right. SO the very laws of reality can be bend to your will as long as it is useful and it feels right.
WTF? Ol’ Jordan was in full crazy rant mode. Talk about a word salad
In the dating game, as soon as we leave, memories slowly fade, and new flirtations arise.
My recently had a medical procedure that required her to be exposed to 4 medical professionals at the same time. Her humiliation was severe. I realized that modesty is the natural impulse. What process does a girl go through to break that down to the point of doing porn? Scary and sad.

Neither Pinocchio nor Cinderella are Disneys. They just did an interpretation of them. Pinocchio is Carlo Collodi and Cinderella or the little glass slipper is told many times over by many authors including but not limited to the brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault.

I am my own worst enemy. Blessed be the Peacemakers.
It's funny, I couldn't understand what they are saying but I do understand them 100%

My experience is completely anecdotal but most of the women I know myself included are not really into sex and could easily live without it. Sex is more of a means to an end. If you want a partner it’s an unavoidable must. That’s all. And based off the huge amounts of dead bedroom marriages out there I think that number of women who would happily live without sex is quite high.

YOOOO the joy on JP'S face when he connects the bathwater thing back to the whore of babylon. when you connect things back to the Bible over and over and over again, it's like God is giving you a little low-key pat on the back - as if " u know". and we know. we know.
I am mindblown by this view on porn. There is an element of fearmongering but somehow it rings true. "mechanical hybrid being able to appear in many places at the same time" What a terrifying take. I am just thankful I conquered my porn and maturbation addiction just 2 months ago.

JPeterson, a smart man stereotyping everything that he can. He must have lost quite a few marbles, like WW3, really? 🙄

The worst thing I see about porn is it's not even how real encounters are. It's all acted, I want to see real passion between two people not some play act where the women isn't even really into it. However young men don't realise this and many will never realise thinking "I'm bad in bed because I can't perform like they do in screen", or they try to mimic it. I would think that this kind of thing leads to abuse of women in the bedroom. There is a niche for real love making but it's few and far between.

man has limited resources. drive is limited will is limited motivation is limited courage is limited strength is limited if you GIVE everything for something vile or "less than noble", you have nothing left. You are drained. You are emptied. There is no more capacity to gain because you have exhausted yourself. Proverbs says "Do not give yourself to the strange[immoral] woman" but BE CONTENT with. your. wife. In an evil world of advertisement, BE CONTENT.
Quite interesting. It's about much more than porn and pron viewers. I'm not into that stuff, but a lot of what Jordan says is still relevant. Great job, Tom!

The world and the people around you most definitely will be better as you get better. And you may even find yourself saying that you have no family and friends around you at this time.
