People not being repulsed by their action, that goes for everybody though, the people here as well and the people who say these phrases. People were quoting Einstein for years, never taking into consideration that they might be part of the group. People don't look into the mirror when it comes to ideologies, it has always been like that.

“Consuming pornography does not lead to more sex, it leads to more porn. JP sure is smart, but has lost his marbles by now. Too much hardship in his life probably. Seriously, WW3? And people are cyborgs because you can send their pictures around the world now? And he's talking like judgement day is around the corner. xD Just google top 10 failed doomsday predictions.... I think the Jehovas witnesses stopped predicting judgement day 50 years ago because it gave them a bad name since it never came true. xD Too many talk in this apocalyptic manner, just when I look at my yt recommendations, everythings breaking, the internet is breaking, the dating is breaking, society and population growth is breaking, gaming is breaking, film industry is breaking and a lot of content creators and channels are breaking as well. Too little talk about global warming though... JP essentially wants men to man up harder, work harder and compete harder. Essentially judging them by what they do for society. Ironically, like robots.

Jordan Peterson is a full blown Christian and Christianity in its practice to the fullness (meaning what is actually being taught not what imperfect people say or do) is totally real. Whether Jesus is God or not is beside the point. The point is, do you want to live in a world absent of Christian values or with them. Christianity is real. We can debate whether or not God exists but Christianity does.

I was agnostic once: the perfection of Catholic values is what lead me to believe. But what was eye openning about this internal debate is that I don't have to prove to people that God is real. I just need to show people that life is better not sinning than to sin.

Christianity falls apart in many ways if there is no God (or no absolute statement by a Christian that God exists). There really is no point to argue one without the other. The apostle Paul points out how sad and pathetic Christians would be if Jesus was not God in flesh, come to save the adopted children of God from their bondage to sin.

Every civilization mono or polytheist in times of hardship, blamed being not true to (what ever god or gods) they worshipped. This’s a very human trait. “We’re gone off the righteous path “. Another reason is that god tears us apart. Christian God vs Jewish God vs Islam God … etc.

An Undignified man will make his fortune and power play even if it is unethical and hurts others in the process. Lust and Love are two poles of the same energy and Lust suffocates love. Love is divine. Love is your only true connection to God. If you develop a relationship from Lust your "Love" will be as shallow as a puddle because you are feeding the animal within you and not nurturing your connection with what is sacred and true.

He is close to what I have come to believe. In my opinion, the saddest part of relationships is we have elevated sex to so “sacred” that we can’t communicate about it. It is like money, the thing itself is not an abomination, and worse we don’t learn about it because it’s too sacred. So in private all these physical desires are perceived as sinful and are ridden with guilt and shame. When they actually are the breath of creation. A sexual relationship between partners creates a union that is sacred and cannot exist without the other. For sure it can become something that is only physical and carnal but so can making money. Yet, it can also create a beautiful thing that is bigger than the sum of its parts. For sure, as with everything physical, we have to learn to rein it in, but sex is so hard to discuss that women don’t understand men and men don’t understand women because we are so afraid of becoming headends. Sex isn’t just about not succumbing to temptation and more than nutrition or sleep is. Yes…too much is bad for you, but not enough and, the wrong type will destroy you.

Agree with Dr. Peterson or not, his mind is incredibly interesting. Apparently there is no alternative to "life is suffering and whatever you do, you do to escape suffering". Apparently even if "you choose" to not participate STILL you're doing either you or someone else a disservice. I got incredibly lucky. I don't have to work, I don't interact with others unless is strictly necessary, I don't "actively pursue aquiring a thing or a skill", I am seriously not interested in "trying to figure out what I could become in the future (aka "your maximun potential"). I, for the life of me, cannot even being to be interested in "a future version of me" because it won't even show up in my mind, it doesn't to my mind is just not interesting. I seriously cannot be worried about these things. What I realize I can only do, is to live one day at a time (haven't found any other alternatives) and doing so is absolutely fine with me. STILL it seems that I am also doomed. That even my life looks and feels great it's like NO, I have to be pursuing a thing or a goal or a feeeling or status. Maybe and just maybe whenever this subject shows up in my feed, it's not directed at me? Maybe A LOT of people do actually struggle with these things?

If you want a partner it’s an unavoidable must. That’s all. And based off the huge amounts of dead bedroom marriages out there I think that number of women who would happily live without sex is quite high.

I think that's why sexlessness amongst men is going to increase. As women gain more financial independence from men the need for them in women's lives diminishes. Sex is not something women persue from men it's resources. With men it's the opposite, they need sex. That's why we're in an era of mating miss match. Btw, ever notice why men shame women with degreed and their earning potential... this is why!

Peterson has lost it. All that "you changed my life" feedback has gotten to him and now he sees himself as a prophet of some kind. This clip was around a quarter of an hour, there isn't 2 minutes' worth of substance in it. He used to be more grounded and tended to make points that made sense to people with common sense. Now he has gone too deep into symbolism and uses hyperbolic and pretentious language to make himself sound like he is explaining some grand vision of life and knows the meaning behind everything. He doesn't. I'd still heavily favor him over the other side. I worry he will deteriorate to the point of saying actually crazy stuff that would discredit him.

The worst thing I see about porn is it's not even how real encounters are. It's all acted, I want to see real passion between two people not some play act where the women isn't even really into it. However young men don't realise this and many will never realise thinking "I'm bad in bed because I can't perform like they do in screen", or they try to mimic it. I would think that this kind of thing leads to abuse of women in the bedroom. There is a niche for real love making but it's few and far between.
