Producer of Family Feud and host of Money Making Conversations, Rushion McDonald tells how he’s been able to live a limitless life on this episode of Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu.

Rushion reveals the impact he wants to have on the world. [32:58]
QUOTES:
“You have to make adjustments to achieve your goals.” [5:18]
“Don't guide your life by how much you're gonna be paid, but how much you get out of it. The opportunity.” [5:37]
“If you're willing to pursue your dream, then your goals change and your level of sacrifice change.” [7:44]
“When you don't know where you're going in life, do not look four years down the line, do not look two years or a year. You look next week. Next month. You keep your goals short. And that way you accomplish those goals, you can start piling up little trophies or little moments to know that you are actually accomplishing something. You're actually climbing the steps to success.” [11:00]
“Please don't put a limit on what you can do when you haven't even tried to do what you are capable of doing.” [20:07]
“If you want to be successful, you have to write down why you want to be successful.” [29:54]

My mom got her dual degree in sociology and psychology when she was 65 years old. She worked until she caught covid last year at the age of 74. She was in a coma and on life support for two months. She refused to give up even then. She emerged out of coma, went to rehab and is ready to get back to work. My mom doesn't play. She does not care nor think about her age at all!!!!

I reinvented myself this month. I only wear certain colors now and cloths and even certain clothing lines. I only wear my hair a certain way. I only eat and drink the healthiest foods I love, and do all the things that are connected to my new self. I have thrown away almost 80% of my whole life and now I am having steady writing success and attracting much. People often tell me now that they think I am a manager or in some very high position and I tell them I am. I am even doing 4 things that many people never thought I would. People stare at me alot now and lots of people want to talk to me and many men keep coming at me with interest. Now I am a very powerful manifester. I have manifested a long list of things even big things just over this month.

Thank you for this video! My story is very much like Rushion's and there's not a lot of social validation if you're in your 40's. I've watch hundreds of entrepreneurial videos looking for inspiration and they all focus on young adults leaving us out. It can feel disheartening at times like you're out here all on your on with nothing but your willpower and belief in yourself. That can be exhausting as well. I HAVE to believe I can reinvent myself at 45; frankly because I'm doing it. Also like Rushion mentioned: at this age you have life experience that a 20 yr old could never have. That is an asset to be utilized and treasured

I’m crying..... (joy) I saw this video earlier this year. But I wasn’t ready to hear this in my heart and my mind. But since then, I just took the leap, well into my 50’s. Very excited, but a little nervous. But yet I press on, to live the life true to who and what I have been purposed to live. It’s fear for me because I’ve been abused physically and emotionally as a child, by mom, sexually molested by her brother, pushed out of a second story window by my sister at the age of 4... Married to an abuser for 7 years, (1st marriage) married over 20years... (2nd marriage) and just abandoned his family. Yet, by Gods Grace... I RISE, with a purpose, having grown from life’s experiences. Thank you Tom for hosting so many great ppl. I will accomplish every goal that’s meant for me! 💛 My heart was ready to hear this time and I’m so very thankful!

I've been bullied off and on most of my life, called crazy so often I even believe it myself at times (been in therapy/on psych meds since 1990) but seeing this video and reading the comments (especially yours) help me realize that I'm NOT alone. Congratulations to you on being alive and not destroyed, and on accomplishing your goals!

You not only have to "make adjustments" to achieve your goals you must ALSO step out of your comfort zone. Trying to play it safe or seeking security are the two primary reasons why people choose to live in employment captivity. There is a mindset required to be an entrepreneur, there is a mindset that causes people to remain enslaved, and there is a mindset that allows people to remain in employee captivity.

This episode is so timely! I recently made the decision to close my practice of 10 years and make a career change. Some patients and friends are happy for me, others think I'm crazy to leave such an income (my son). At 54, I realize that life is short and I am bored with alternative medicine. I have accomplished everything I can image accomplishing and now it's time for a new challenge. I have overcome many obstacles, endured much hardship and had years of being broke while raising my son. I have goals and dreams to fulfill and working as I do doesn't give me the time freedom I desire. Thank you for this show and the re-inforcement that I'm doing what is right for ME! The next chapter for Sue is looking amazing, I can't wait for 8/31/18 to arrive so it can begin!

I think that is a very common problem. You need to have small Goals that you can reach by following/executing a plan. That stack's up over time to contribute to a big Goal. If the first step (big goal) is to BIG you don't know how to reach it. And then you will procrastinate.

Thank u for sharing. Great interview, great message. I just turned 39 yrs old n felt it was too late to start a new venture in my career bc of all the changes n obstacles as well as being a single mom with not any support or a tribe, really. But I'm unhappy and I know I have so much potential n greatness within me to share to the world. And ultimately I need to prove to myself n my naysayers. I especially want to be able to help my family. I'm tired of living n fear of failure. I'm ready to breakthrough to the other side. I'm more than capable n deserving. I needed to hear this!

Coming from the inner city made him a fighter and so tough that he could find strength to walk over those that says he can't. Many forget that being impoverished and broke taught them what real friends are, how to survive the tough times and not sweat the small tough. Thank God he realized that this world is bigger and he could be apart of it; which is a great lesson for others Kings and Queens still in the inner cities. Blessings

I love how he tells us not to be average. I have been teaching for years_"Strive for perfection". I would get a lot of static back at me, Perfection? That's too hard? That is stressful, or whatever excuse. But really people, why would we ever strive for mediocrity? That just does not compute. A big DNC on that! Haha...let's all be our best selves and lift our communities and our world! Thanks my friend for sharing awesome content!

Tom, when you live in the inner city you see and experience a LOT of pain, hardship, hurt, disadvantages and disparities. Many in the inner city do not see the opportunities that may be possible through extremely HARD work, Courage and Faith because of so much negativity and disparities. But, when you are shown, see, or search for opportunities you may see that there is a possibility to move with your dream and work and fight for them. So, Living in the inner city is a daily FIGHT to survive in many cases, but when your mindset realizes that you want something and you believe in the possibility that you can have it FAITH moves in and then you must take that FIGHT that you have learned from living in the inner city and use it to fight for your deepest desires. As Rushion says Fear of stepping out of your box and challenging yourself is huge and very real. I'm in the process working on something and would love to tell you more about it FEAR but stepping out of the box here.

wow. thats great! Use that as a way to keep you pushing. in one of toms other interviews they talked about physically and mentally visiting where you want to be in the future. like going to a neighborhood you may want to live in or going on vacations that you want to be able to take all the time. because when we put ourselves around the things we want, we start to manifest them. so its def a premonition for you. good luck and keep pushing. you will def meet tom one day!💁

What an AMAZING human being!!! The last part of his interview is the primary reason he is, and will continue to be a success!!! Mr. McDonald is a principled man with a generous, beautiful heart of gold. Although he desired success, he never sold his to the money. He's humble and brilliant at the same time and his blessings are well deserved! Finally, kudos to the host! What a thoughtful and excellent interview! I just subscribed and am sending this interview to my oldest son. He is working, while also building his own national and international business. I know this will be encouragement and mentorship for him as Mr. McDonald is exemplary in the way in which he dissiminates the wealth of knowledge he has and continues to obtain. Thank you to you both, God greatly bless you with many, many more successes!!! There is no higher calling than to love and help others....💜🙏🏼💜
