I'm about to be 42 and have nothing going on in my life. High school flunky, never learned to drive, never had my own place, never made above minimum wage. Last year I started listening to people like Les and at first it bugged me. I was so stuck in self pity that I couldn't appreciate what was being said. I used to listen to les brown in 2012. Sleeping in a friends food pantry. I had Nothing in my name, absolutely nothing but a bag of clothes and a phone. I would watch many of his videos and memorize them word for word when I was homeless and hungry. I could recite you this entire video and many others. Today I have my own place to myself. My own 3 vehicles! A dream car of mine I’m working on/restoring myself. I own my own company, started my own channel, and also work a 9-5 for a good caring company who pays me well, with plans of creating many more assets for myself. I go back here to watch his videos every now and then, it gives me goosebumps when I get flashbacks thinking of those times when I slept in closets, when I drove the bus with my Head pressed up against the window wishing I had a car to drive. Wishing I had a job, money, or a place to stay. When I was hungry drinking tap water so my stomach would stop growling so I could sleep. This is just my journey. My stomach isn’t growling anymore but my heart still has the drive. So Thank you les! Thank you mom for introducing to me who he is. I never had a real father figure in my life that I could honestly look up to. Men like les brown easily filled the void.

I watched this video & it’s inspired me to change. Today, I had the courage of being completely honest with myself after 9-years of lying, pretending & acting as if my behavior, choices & my absolutely disastrous life could be justified & blame shifted everything else onto the 1-person who truly love me. How awful it is admitting this horrible truth. I’m so ashamed of myself & have no hope or illusions of reality feel it’s hopeless trying to apologize & ask him for his forgiveness. embarrassed it was something & someone’s fault were justified. Nothing could be further from the truth & no excuse could ever be given. My choices were mine & I am the only person who can accept the responsibility of being responsible & owning the devastating consequences of such selfish decisions. I am terrified of what the future is or can be for me but ... Today, I will begin on my own path of rebuilding & repairing myself. I will try hard to remember that my path doesn’t have any exits or off-ramps. Today I will not allow fear to control me anymore. F.E.A.R. Is false evidence appearing real! You got this! Make your goals and crush them! I was broke, homeless and didn’t have a dime to my name, but I had faith! I knew that at that moment that was the lowest I’d ever be and also the richest! The thought along brought about great strength within me and I came up swinging! You must know that life happens to us all, but it isn’t about lying there and crying. You have to understand it’s only happening to show you your power! We have the ability to create any universe we want with just our thoughts. Monitor them daily and watch how your life changes.

I am a Spanish instructor , everyone of my classes ends with 15 minutes of Les Brown , because apart from learning a new language, we all need some guidance and motivation to move forward in life.

Been applying for my dream job for over 2 years with no luck. Got an email for a interview Tuesday at 10. Went to interview and I was 1 of 11 people for that job. Left the interview went back to work and got fired at 1pm that day from my current job. Didn't know what I was gonna do but I kept faith some how I would. The next day at 5:08 i got the call I got my dream job! Mr less Brown changed my life since watching his videos for the past few years! I rememberi crashed my motorcycle last year, broke my whole left leg, my hand stitches and road rash everwhere, sepsis from a leg infection, I thought I’d never be the same again, I would never walk right or the athletic self I was before. Even hearing coworkers and own people who I used to call friends “I would never be the same again, I’m done for life”. I made the ultimate comeback and came back stronger than ever. your mind refuses to stay the same after listening to les brown. like when am about to give up on something, i hear les's voice in my head asking "what are going to do about it?" and i get up immediately even if i dont know what am about to do....and i end up doing something about it!! if feels darn good pushing yourself

Facts

I was recently released from jail about a month ago due to some unfortunate circumstance, but while I was incarcerated I focused on developing myself wrote down some goals, soon as I bonded out of jail I took my goals started accomplishing them. I found a job, signed up for school, and am now looking for a home. Mind you I was shot in the chest as an innocent victim of crime. And just recently ruptured my Bicep muscle, due to an injury that lacerated my tendons in my left(dominate hand) goin to school I had to learn how to write with the opposite hand. I prayed to God to help me succeed, and in 3 days I learned how to write with my right. Watching Les helped mentally focus on what needed to be done. My court date is set a month from now. Im praying everything goes ok so I can continue my journey and finish what I started. One thing I learned is Patience, things will go wrong, but don't let them keep you down. Im grateful for the lessons cause it helped me grow and know that I can survive anything, all those punches and I still get up. God bless everyone, may you find the courage to keep pushing forward through anything life throws at you.

Amazing

I saw this video five years ago when I was 18, at first, these messages were unclear to me and I may have not fully understood them. Three years ago I dropped out of community college with a low GPA to go figure myself out. That year off, I was able to rediscover what I truly wanted to do in life and what makes me happy and positive. Currently, I'm back into CC and finally, at the age of 23, I'm transferring to a University this upcoming Fall. Even though this is a huge milestone in my life I believe it's an even bigger achievement where I live a life where I truly appreciate and love the person I am today and the person I'm growing to become!

He is very dope and uplifting especially for me. I am learning more to do forgiveness. I realize those fools ain't worth one cent. I am going keep practice forgiveness.
