    I think that kitchen is brilliant. I love the magnetic lightbar. I would probably get one of those fast pop-up awnings to go over the backside of the suburban. I do think it would be better to have the fridge back with the kitchen. Cool design!

    Ok. Finally found one that’ll work. Fair warning I’m stealing your idea 😂. I’ve been watching, Jesus….about a a million of these pull out videos. I have ply just sitting out there, pre finished, ready to go. I’ve already got the sink, faucet, lights (shorter but the same ones), etc. (need the slides, 48” slides are not something I stocked in my cabinet shop). All ready figured I’d put the fridge on a slide on top of the base. Solar on top, battery and electronics where the tire went, tire to the roof rack. Gonna do a wraparound awning with a shower up top. I don’t sleep in my Sub…I’ve tried, just can’t get use to it, so I have a queen sized cot tent. It was the configuration of the box I kept going back and forth on. Nice build. Thank you for the inspiration/answer. You just got a subscriber 😁👍

    Nice job man! Im about to attempt something similar (not nearly as nice as yours) with my 2004 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT (RWD). Im no enthusiast, l’ve decided to live in my Suburban because the cost of living in Los Angeles, California is 100% 😂 And I have some personal goals that require a sacrifice to achieve in a timely manner. So I am about to be enthusiastic about having a power supply system that can run and operate an “outstanding 12 V Air conditioning unit” perpetually, from May to October. I live by Edwards Air Force base, and it is very hot in the “Antelope Valley.” A dry stuffy 105 degrees F. is the comfy average ( in recent years) Also, I have never seen any antelope here. I have seen the thermostat read 155 F inside my SUV with an ambient temperature of 92 F outside. So I think i should try to insulate a lot. And I love the color, but black in the desert is problematic for me, lol.

    I really like your builds - great jobs👍. You might want to check out the torsion hinges from Rockler to use on the side cabinets as an option instead of the piano hinges. They should hold the doors up, making it easier for the users. What type of insulation are you putting above the tongue and groove ceiling?

  • @everventurecustom

    @everventurecustom

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thanks for the comment Kevin, we’ll definitely keep the hinges in mind. For insulation, we always use wool as it is a bit more environmentally friendly.

    I have a 99 burban that's 4 wheel drive that my parents bought me back when I was in highschool. It's been 14 years but I still have her! I resently bought my brother in law's 99 burban that don't run so we're going to make the one that don't run into a camper. Pull the motor put a water tank in the engine bay. I have tons of ideas for it. I'm going to make the one that don't run into a trailer then il pull it with my OG burban

  • @everventurecustom

    The bumper was provided by the customer through a company called MOVE. it comes in parts and we welded it up for him. Then we added a tire swing to get the tire out of the cab area. The tire swing was custom made by our welder.

    Hey trying to do a build out and use a drawer system like that for my bed on the inside, what kind of drawer system is that if you dont mind me asking? I seen one where it would hold up to 500 lbs, I believe it was another of yalls video.

  • @everventurecustom

    @everventurecustom

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey Josh, Yeah the drawer slides are from a company called Shuhang on Amazon. They come in all sorts of sizes but the 56" ones like in the video run $215 for the set. They are really good quality too. They say they can hold 220Kg (roughly 500lbs). Keep in mind the slides might hold that the the drawer box itself might not. Hope that helps.

    Do you build those swing out table legs yourself? I could really use a couple sets of those and would love to find out where you get them from.

  • @everventurecustom

    @everventurecustom

    We bought some telescoping legs and redesigned them to fit. We welded up a center support in the middle and created a bracket to mount to the table. Unfortunately we don't sell just the legs.

    Hello buddy, cool travel car build! I correctly understood that a part from h2 was used for the spare wheel bracket? Please tell me, do craftsmen in the USA build a panoramic sunroof into the gmt400? Looking for a video or any information about it. Thank you.

  • @everventurecustom

    @everventurecustom

    11 ай бұрын

    Not sure about the sunroof. I haven’t seen anything like that. The bumper and wheel bracket was welded by us at the shop. The bumper is from a company called MOVE bumpers and the wheel bracket I purchased from a 4x4 place. Then we custom fitted both pieces together.

  • @eichhornchenmafia

    @eichhornchenmafia

    @@everventurecustom thank you for the answer, very interesting. It is a pity that there is little information regarding the sunroof. In these cars (gmt400), it is almost without rounding as on modern cars, I found a similar roof only on Mitsubishi Pajero 2, the same smooth and only a little rounding from the windshield to the beginning of the hatch, then exactly... I found a sunroof (kit) and I think the installation should not be very difficult. The spare tire bracket and bumper turned out very cool, congratulations!

    takes way too much work to set up the 'kitchen' area then put away. It's not something that would be useful as a daily kitchen.
