Hi Michael! So far, we’ve rarely used it. We’ve not camped in high heat environments yet so we might not be the best benchmark. I will say that it is loud enough that I’d need to use earplugs if I needed to run it while sleeping. It would be great if it was reversible as well (pushing air in as well as pulling it out). We’ll be using the truck more this summer than 2021, so time will tell if it becomes a Godsend. Thanks for the view and comment!!

Thanks for taking the time to do this! A couple of questions: - I’ve been wondering about the height in the back - how tall are you guys and can you sit up in there? - I was thinking about a Mr. Buddy heater but I’m worried about carbon monoxide. I know you have a monitor (good thinking!) but do you leave the windows open too? - Do you think it’s possible to add a dimmer switch to the LED light? I’m no engineer but it doesn’t seem like it would be that hard. - if you get a chance to add the links for the seat covers, drink holders etc, that would be nice 😀 Thanks again, I’m working on my Suboverland plans now and this is super helpful, sorry for so many questions!

Hi Tim! I’m 5’ 10” and if I’m sitting on the mattress my head hits the roof. When we’re sitting inside for coffee etc we fold the mattress back and I use it as a backrest. So I’m reclining a bit and my head clears no problem,. These heaters are safe for use indoors. We’ve always had at least the roof vent open a crack just for peace of mind. The CO2 alarm has never gone off BTW

Light - I’ve thought about a filter to tone it down a bit, but we end up using an inflatable LED light cube 99% of time. Cup holder and seat cover links should be there; I’ll double-check

We go in our ESV with an air mattress. Being 6'1, I am just able to sit up in bed. Those drawers would not work for us but are super important for others. Find another way to store your stuff, and you are good. Sitting up in the morning is essential for me.

Those don't look like WeatherTech. They look like some from Walmart. I have some. I haven't put them in yet because you cut them to fit. WeatherTech has little side's around them to keep spill's and rain and snow in. Either way those are nice mats though.

Hi! Thanks for the comment. Our covers are Wet Okole brand. They are not cheap, and leadtimes are longer these days, but they are worth the money and wait. 1/2 inch thick foam, durable neoprene covering and perfect fit. Easy to clean too. Check them out!

Thanks. We are happy with the truck. It’s nice not to worry about damaging the exterior (the previous owner did that). It is super comfortable for long drives and capable enough off-road for us. The only possible future upgrades would be an awning and a winch

@@darylwilliston8220 Based on our off-road driving so far, I think a winch would be overkill. We're going to Moab next month and up the ante a bit on trail difficulty. That may shed some light on our needs. We'll have our ebikes too, so look for more of that. Also, check out an ebike video I published on my other channel: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fYiL17KRfb3Hl8Y.html

Hola! We bought a Camco toilet recently. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet. We’ll probably transport it in the back seat area. We also have a small cargo trailer and we’ll stow it there when we bring the trailer on trips.

Why do they hack up the roof liner and put in wood ? First it doesnt look good and second the fit and finish is poor, im a carpenter and i would not leave giant gaps like at the top of the door openings , just think if your going to pay to have something done they need to complete the job not leave it looking like anyone with a saw did it
