This is Not a Void
Ғылым және технология
This creepy picture showing a dark patch in space is often confused with the Bootes Void, a nearly spherical intergalactic region containing hardly any galaxies. But is that really what's been shown in this image?

that's right because Voids are super massive so it's unoticable due to its super size, it blends well into the sky and other stars and galaxies in other superclusters will fill the background so we can never see Voids from Earth perspective.

Nah that’s the aftermath of serious punch squared,
"The Boötes void has been often associated with images of Barnard 68, a dark nebula that does not allow light to pass through; however, the images of Barnard 68 are much darker than those observed of the Boötes void, as the nebula is much closer and there are fewer stars in front of it, as well as its being a physical mass that blocks light passing through."
Perfect! 🔥👏🏻
Honestly even scarier knowing what it is
It's the among us bean's shadow while walking
"a nearly spherical". ... Do you not know the definition of a sphere? An amorphous blob isn't a sphere
This reminded me of a concern. Even if human did get to space how would they see in front traveling at wrap speed and how would you see when space absorb so much dark with some parts absorbing more light what some stars put out 😂

Thanks for clearing this up
I can't even describe the pure terror that being close to that would bring me
Sadly we can't worry about it for now because we aren't a space-faring society yet

Space is so beautiful but at the same time terrifying with how absolutely big it is.
bro it's 1am i won't be able to sleep if i keep watching these videos
Chill it's just Saitama and garou having fun
The fact it's a super massive cloud of darkness that holds no light makes it all the more terrifying
I see this ..... I am nothing. Fantastic, thank you!
The fact that you used an elite dangerous clip of Bernard is fucking awesome I've been out there myself and it's a good travel if you're doing road to riches on the way.
The scale of this type of thing is so beyond incomprehensible lmao
Hehe, Booties Void
It doesn't matter if it's not avoided it still looks terrifying
A cloud of gas that absorbs all light and its THAT big is far scarier than a mere empty spot.
That’s even more unsettling thanks for ruining my night
That's probably my mother in law's vulva. And to think that my wife crawled out of there isn't such a wonder.
This picture of Barnard 68 is truly fascinating. Absorption gas cloud Nebulae is amazing. Space has a lot of surprising occurrences.
Well now we know where the aliens be hiding, time to send chimps with cameras!
The more I learn about the universe the creepier it gets.
That gas cloud is the stuff of lovecraftian horror
The fact that voids are somehow scary is actually kinda funny considering that space is basically only a void with a little.bit of stuff scattered around like dust
I dont know if you will personally see this but THANK YOU FOR THE CLARIFICATION
It's where Saitama and Garou are fighting
I knew someone that reminded me of an absorption nebula by the description given here.
Perfect place to build an advanced hidden civilization. Where do i contact the real estate guy ?
This is where people who have mastered 50% of every skill in a game go
Creepy dark just became my favorite songs 😜
Still.. imagine how far and vast that gas cloud must be to take up so much room in space
So less of a Bootes void, and more of a voided boote, if you catch my whiff
Searching for that comment where that TARD will say :- Saitama did that

Ok
serious punch squared
The topic of "space" and far-off galaxies is absolutely fascinating to me! There's really no telling of all that's out there.
The absorption nebula looks like the heart of the Black Garden.
That dust cloud looks like a goat with a human fist.
This "void" reminds me of the latest chapter of One Punch Man
Every time I watch astronomy related videos, I always forgot how far light years actually are
I imagine it would be terrifying if our solar system were to fly through one, one day we see the stars the next we don’t and it’s just black in the sky except maybe the sun and moon and our neighbouring planets
Imagine living on a world shrouded by that nebula. Living in an eternity of darkness.
That is amazingly terrifying.
This was a very interesting video and it is something that I actually didn’t know! To think that I still manage to get new info about astronomy, either way, that image gives me the creeps..
How have I not heard about Boötes void, I absolutely love space and I'm sure I would've known it.
There are times I have had dark gas clouds in my younger days which in turn led to several Boötes voids in my memory. I’m pretty sure it was all for the best though.
Perfect place for a big space monster to lurk! 😁 Imagine the possibilities!
I swear knowing nothing about astronomy I'am so confused when people can just find like 2 glowing orbs sitting in nothingness and go like "DAAMNN"
The light absorbing gas cloud is more worrying than an empty patch 😅
The ambience is scary man
Imagine if there was life in that void. They would nearly as lonely as it can possibly get
Wish space exploration games depicted the vast and eeriness of space with such lonely yet boding structures instead of the sci-fi civilizations and space fighting hijinks, etc.
Banard be looking like a pokemon
The böotes void is so large to the point that it's not even a void at a smaller scale
