Great video, Ash! I’ve only had to speak to Uber Eats once through chat, and it was a good experience, but it wasn’t anything to do with money. Other than that, I will call them and have called them in regards to a shop and pay. And you’re right going through chat they can’t understand or feel what I’m going through and I would have to send way too many emojis 😂😂😂

Hi Ash! Very true that calling them on the phone is better than the chat, and like you, I have not waited long to get someone on the phone either, so that is a plus that I'll give to UE.

Hi there ash! You such an Amazing woman and so smart and i do look up to you in ways. I have a question though. My friend she is a very good shopper at instacart and has been doing well but on the 17th she informed me that her account has been deactivated and it was something to do with her background check “supposedly.” She works for child care so there is no issue with background checks and is there anything you can tell me so incan tell her??? What are your thoughts about this ridiculous outcome??? 😢

I appreciate the compliment I would suggest have them run the check again if possible. If she works in child care then for sure she's cleared but sometimes systems make mistakes. I'm sorry that happened to her. Ask her to reach out to support

I’ve done close to 10 thousand Uber food delivery and normally they are pretty decent .

Over the phone they have been yes but it's normally been only for tip baiting which involved a manager

Hi Ash, I’ve been trying to get messages out to you. I don’t have your email. I’m in Toronto and it seems that acceptance rate matters here next week. I’m going to try to take as much as I can no matter how bad it is just to bring my acceptance rate up and see what happens because I’m refusing a lot of BS Request and less my acceptance rate goes the less I’m sitting 40 hours but it shows that I’m making like $25 an hour because of what I’m excepting but I’m sitting 40 hours to make $400 this week and last week I don’t know what’s going on, but somethings not right and my satisfaction rate is 99%, acceptance rate is 20% now I was at 48% before but I just kept refusing refusing. And my cancellation rate is at 0% and I sit for an hour and if I get anything it’s really lowball like three dollars for 10 km or the shopping are ridiculous too. I was getting some amazing stuff like 34 weeks ago and I barely even make $100 a day. so I’m gonna do a test next week and just start accepting almost everything to bring my acceptance rate up and see how it goes and I’ll keep you posted. I hope you get this message. Would love some input can do acceptance rate again if you are aware of anything maybe because I’m in Toronto and it’s a big city they’re applying or applying it against us if we’re low. Also, I’m taking pictures of all the lowball orders they send me every single day just to show it. I’m starting to wonder if I should get a lawyer and sue them do a class action lawsuit or do it individual because they try to say that you make 20 $25 an hour or $30 an hour, but that’s only when you’re doing the deliveries but sitting sitting and waiting is part of working and doing this contract… so it works out that I’m making maybe $10 an hour and that’s not taking out my insurance that’s $10 a day, the gas that I use which can be $20-$40 a day and maintenance on my vehicle. This is slave labor. This should never happen…

Very helpful tutorial but I have a reason to believe this video cursed me. I was in traffic listening en route from my dub2 job today..... Haven't called support since last summer, then low and behold tonight, two dud orders in a row..... including a $47 _burglar surge_ offer (I knew better) 🤭

Hi Ash. I delivered for Uber Eats for three days, and every time I made a delivery, the tip was reduced from around $12 to $3 or $4. I drove for hours, and only earned $18 for the entire day. Does Uber Eats steal tips?

Uber , no not from my knowledge but customers do have the flexibility to reduce or remove tips so it's likely the customer. I would contact support, ask to speak to a manager and get your tips back because that's not right.
