The moment Tyresetold Embiid "I got you", might be the most important mo ment of these guys arc together. Embiid has desperately needed that guy, so all the pressure isnt on him in the playoffs, and he finally has one. Hard to quantify how massive this can be moving forward

For this particular post season, it would make more sense for Maxey to be the first option and let embiid focus more on shot blocking and rebounding to take off weight for his injury

my sentiments exactly. maxey is an alpha to me, tho embiid is a big dude hes really not an alpha. kinda like the same dynamic with the t wolves where edwards has supplanted towns as the alpha n that has lead to more team success

When Joel scored 50 he said I got you Maxey and when Maxey scored 46 he said I got you Joel, it's not on you all the time.

Sean B: He's NOT the type of person to say he told you so. Getting whacked to the floor without whistles will make you mean .... As far as face of the NBA, it's funny how national "pundits" fly like moths to a light. The one down side of that 3..... I know there is a cap of what he can get paid, but it made the offseason perhaps a bit more expensive--a bill we will all gladly pay. There are quite a number of "top Philly moments in sports history" highlight reels that will definitely require modification!
