How to Score Easier (Add Points to Every Game)
Спорт
Not every bucket has to be a tough, high-effort bucket. In fact, even the best scorers in the world score primarily on EASIER shots and actions. If you can get these concepts down and consistent, it'll change your game completely.

#10 After you get some of these going and they start sending help defense your way, look for your open teammates for easy buckets.

Absolutely! I study the game over there just as much
As a slow and non athletic hood player, I can tell that i dominate the game just developing my mid-range shoot to another level, i can catch and shoot, play pick n pop being 6'0" and reading the game to assist when it's possible, I'm not a pro player but i can do my part in anywhere just defending and scoring mid-range shots and casually some threes
Really hope a lot of younger kids check this video out! I often find a lot of kids nowadays want to go get tough bucket after tough bucket and I'm like "get in your bag and get the tough one when you have to", that's not first option though! Easy buckets
W, thanks for expanding my scoring bag
Love how you show clips of Dwade, he was certainly one of the greats who made the game easier. Dwade did not have the smoothest outside game but his efficiency was because of high IQ offense and ultimately his impact on winning is what made him the 3rd SG goat behind MJ and Kobe.

Appreciate the vids coach they really do help alot
Thank you so much. I’ve always struggled to position my self off ball. These really help to become a good team player! 😊

Always love these videos and what you have to say bro 🔥
Love the Jordan Hawkins & Julian Strawther highlights, they’ve been killing it as rookies so far
Do you have a floater breakdown? Ways to train it, when to use it?

how i train mine is just make 10 from all five spots, i do right hand off left foot 3 makes, same foot same hand for 2, off two feet right hand dribble for 3 and then left hand “bump their body” jump stop for 2

as far as when to use it i say when you’re open for that second and its not enough time to take a pull up jumper and the big is kinda waiting but has his hands down, easy floater. or even when someone on the help side is there ready to take a charge
@Strive4G8ness23

Hmm, but is there an actual proper form for a floater? Like do you flick your wrist while releasing the ball or do you just throw it up based on rough feel from constant practices
Thank you for the heads up 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
thanks for the help man!
Thank you so much, I'm going to make sure I use these to score easy points in games 🏀
Exactly what I needed
I did most of it already, just need to increase my shooting and contact finishing. But thanks for reminding some if the things I forgo
Thanks bro💯
Thank you 🙏🏾
True! Lateral dribbles always work for me and I end up getting open middy shots. Catch, dribble laterally and shoot 😅
Good video💪🏀💪
Thank you for showing some respect to the floater, I try to tell people all the time, put some respect on Tony Parker's name, that was his signature shot.

i have problems with consistency, sometimes i’ll be the leading scorer for the team and win us the game but sometimes i’ll have a 0-3pts and be a liability. any way you could help ?

Keep doing the same things to score
@ByAnyMeansBasketball
Жыл бұрын
Why are you a liability? I think the biggest thing to understand is that only the most elite scorers in the world are consistent being the leading scorer. It’s OK to not be the leading scorer every game, because it’s so situational. As long as you’re not a liability, ups and downs are not only ok but expected! Scoring in these ways will also help your consistency skyrocket in my opinion.

@@ByAnyMeansBasketball i think sometimes my team is better off without me checking in the game, although it was my first time year playing organised basketball i still believe that i have the skill and confidence to dominate the game but it just doesn’t happen
@chrisisslick

@@ilykwann you gotta understand that there's way more to basketball than scoring. Focus on things you can control: shot i.q. (take good shots), spacing, set picks, get assists (don't only pass to get assists), rebound (box out) and ALWAYS PLAY DEFENSE.

You just need confidence even when you have a bad game. I know it’s hard to shake off a bad game DURING the game but this video pretty much explains how to make your life easier by getting easier buckets not only for yourself, but for your teammates. Set off ball screens to free your teammates, cut to the rim for a sneak lay, or crash the offensive glass for putbacks, play lockdown defence and get a steal for fastbreak layups, etc. If you’re doing a lot of little things like that your teammates will appreciate you and look to get you the ball more too.
thanks
luke kennard is my favourite player to watch as a shooter. While Steph is the gold standard, he has the ultimate green light, some players aren’t there yet. Luke knocks down some easy shots, warms up and then gets the ball more.

I’m a center for my team and I just played my first tourney today. All the friendlies I’ve played till now, I’ve been able to drop consistent points in the post and also help in other ways. However today, in the 25+ mins coach trusted me to play, I dropped a huge 0 while the other team had a guy dropping 34. Can anyone please help? I tried to do my usual post game but for some reason I was just too scared and tired to do anything

Your basketball coach should have taught their players this
The best shot in basketball is an open layup. It's so obvious that it's easy to forget.
Get to the free throw line is the easiest way to increase your scoring
