Dante Exum, earned his way back into the NBA after 2 years in Europe. 55 games with Mavs this year. 6"5 220 pounds. 53/49/80 splits, 8 points per game, 20 average minutes. But most importantly 3 million in his final year of contract for next season.

Bruce Brown EPM is -2.7 for $23 million for Paul Reed EPM +0.6 at $7 million plus 2 first rounders? I wouldn't do that straight up.

I think that is too much for Bruce Brown. I call that a fleece. This is what I don't like about the sixers front office, they do not value the draft unless it is a lottery pick. That's stupid, I bet the only scouting they do is using AI real scouts go talk to the player face to face and their coaches and even their parents. I am sure the excuse will be that it cost too much money, and that is a lie. I think it's funny when they say picking the right player for Joel, and they have being fracking it up for almost 10 years, lol. The truth is the sixers don't know what the frack they are doing period. I will tell exactly what the sixers will do, find an old all-star and another solid old player and make sure they get rid of as many draft picks as they can, the end.

Oh btw, you forgot to coach up Reed and Bamba and make Springer into a useful player( wait until you see him next year when the Celtics work with him.)All those assistant coaches and they couldn’t teach these young players..so the answer is no,you don’t have tradeable players for Brown.

I think the 76ers should get Wiseman and Grimes for cheap just to make a move. I think Wiseman could learn a lot from Embiid and Grimes is a swiss army type of 3nD guard/forward they could benefit from having

Bulls have to be willing to trade him for something reasonable, but so far Bulls have no intention of rebuilding. His salary is only 9.9 M. Offering the 2016 first and another 1st might be something Morey would agree too. Might depend on which other first.

@@sharifshabazz834 I wouldn't. Morey may have a lower opinion of BBall than me. At the time of the draft, Paul Reed is the only backup Big, with a need for 2 backup bigs for the 15+ games Embiid misses. I reject the blame given to BBall in the Knicks series. He needs consistent PT to get into a groove. Paul Reed is a bargain at 7.7 M, if Nurse would use him correctly, without a leash (1/2 time alongside Joel). We don't even have a starting PF, now that fans have made it impossible for Tobias to want to accept any discounted contract Morey would offer. Of course I 100% reject the notion to spend 49.35 M on PG with 157 M for subsequent 3 yrs. PG would destroy the Sixers off season if he is using the Sixers just to get LAC to increase their offer. Even worse if it drags on until around Jan 4. It is Miles Bridges or Bust for the off season. No You Tuber has the courage to call for signing him, much less the established media.

32% from 3 pt with low volume. Ricky Council will be a better fit for Sixers if he's given PT.

Another player to keep an eye on... Fred Vanvleet. Houston has the 3rd pick and a lot of Mocks have them projected to take a guard... they also have Thompson that can play the 2 or 3 as well as Jalen Green. Dont be suprised if Vanvleet comes available via trade. And I wouldnt be suprised if The 76ers were interested in trading for him.

Only reason I brought up Vanvleet was due to his ties with Nurse and I believe The 76ers were trying to pull off a sign and trade last year to acquire Vanvleet. Also, I think Vanvleet would fit well next to Maxey & he would only be on contract for the next two years. But going back to your point... A wing should be top priority.

Sean, this has to be the worst proposed trade/acquisition I've seen from you. First, Paul Reed is more valuable to Sixers than would Bruce Brown. Reed cannot be traded because Sixers need TWO backup Bigs with an Embiid team. His contract is reasonable, and I want to see BBall playing alongside Joel. Sixers weakness is rebounding, so you don't trade your best rebounder per 36 min. Of course Sixers can just absorb the 23 M into their 53.75 M cap space (I put the figures on Twitter). Of course that would only leave about 30 M space. If Morey trades the #16 pic, he would be getting back a player, so we should stick with the 53.75 M cap space. So getting BB with space makes it impossible to get PG, who I don't want anyway. If get PG only 5.5 M space to sign another player, not counting the 8.0 M room MLE. Sixers can probably sign Miles Bridges for around 18 M, but that would be sooooo much better for Sixers than BB, as the replacement for Tobias. And Sixers would not have to give up any asset to acquire an effective All Star level player in Miles Bridges. The reason IND overpaid for Bruce Brown was that they needed to get to 90% of the salary cap last yr. They got BB to accept a Club Option in return for being overpaid. It worked out for IND as they used him for trade ballast to acquire Siakam. Meanwhile TOR hoped BB would have been better, and hoped to get back at least a 1st at the trade deadline. If no one would give a 1st for BB at trade deadline, so he's worth less now. His season was poor with only 32% from 3 pt over the 23-24 season, and with low attempts. Sixers need a SG they can count on 40% from 3 pt on high volume. It is unlikely any team would offer more than a 2nd rd pic to take a 23 M contract for someone with a mediocre season(IND would have to accept his team option before a trade) I would rather take my chances with re-signing Buddy Hield for 10-12 M. Maybe Morey can work a deal to get someone better than Buddy, but someone like Gary Trent Jr may not be attainable. Sixers fans want Kelly Oubre back at all cost and I agree. Need to offset Oubre's poorer 3 pt shooting, though I think KO is good for 35% if he's more selective. Another major reason I do not want Bruce Brown is because he's a similar player to Ricky Council IV, who got shafted by Nurse in favor of KJ Martin. I want Martin gone too, so that Ricky can bloom. Council is 2" taller than Brown and much more athletic. Council's contract is a steal. He needs to be in the rotation for 20 mpg next yr. Joel wants continuity and that won't happen if Morey goes after a Max contract like PG. Even worse is if PG re-signs with LAC around July 3 and most FAs are already gone. After the trade deadline, Sixers fans weren't wrong to believe they had one of the best rosters in the NBA if only Embiid could be 100%. Now there is the opportunity to replace Tobi with Miles and get more from Ricky Council, Reed along with maybe another move or two. Lets not breakup what was already excellent.

Don't trade for Bruce Brown bc he isn't a good shooter - if they don't trade him then his team option will be waived & he would become a free agent to sign for less money

Yes, there is a good chance he becomes an UFA, but I still don't want him anymore, now that Council IV will be like the Brooklyn version of Brown, but taller and more athletic.

Embiid said he wants some continuity. Everything I've heard since the Morey press conference has been about blowing it up, except for Embiid/Maxey. Embiid is correct and that is the Denver model. Wish PG would come to agreement with LAC so we get off that track of using nearly all the available cap on one unreliable aging player.
