Getting my groove on with this lesson. Went at it today and it is a wooly riff and getting the staccato notes over bridge pick-up feels and sounds good. Nice breakdown of chunks as well.Thanks and thankee.

Great lesson. Jayme, you seem to solo the bridge pickup on your J bass for this kind of music and also roll of the tone a little bit, right? It's really snappy but not fizzy and not too much in your face.

Ya this is definitely bridge pickup, but I don't touch the tone knob usually. I usually do most of my tone-sculpting in post.

Is there an envelope filter working in there somewhere? I have the same bass, but I don't know what you have working that I don't, and it's killing me! Please save me from spending MORE money trying to figure out why I can't get that tone!!!???😮‍💨
