Being a vegetarian in one society may be religious or belief. So it's their right not in some cases being Vegetarian means being anti-farming or against animal torture, that is not the spirit being Vegetarian

Promoting animal cruelty and hate speech is nothing to be proud of .

You don’t have to be a crazy woke person to become a vegan or a vegetarian. All it takes is realizing just how much animals are suffering because of us and seeing that without any pitiful self-concern regarding lies about how you cannot live without meat or suffering from a cognitive dissonance by not taking their suffering seriously enough, and no amount of jokes or memes will change that.

All that I’m saying is that if you don’t take animal cruelty seriously enough, if “it’s not the same for many people” as it is to me, as you’ve said, I have a very hard time taking these words seriously. I think we would be lying to ourselves if we didn’t acknowledge that the most likely reason for this kind of attitude is not some kind of bulletproof philosophical stance, but instead it’s clearly just a cognitive dissonance. Just look at them, look at these animals, try to imagine how much they’ve suffered and how much they will continue to suffer, and if you can visualize it clearly, it’s impossible to not be moved by it.
