rising fuel costs pale into significance when compared to housing costs and rents (domestic and commercial) ... the reality is, when banks givie loans, they are creating money supply out of thin air just as surely as the fed is... the problem is, if that money isnt being spent on increasing supply of in demand goods, you get inflation .... so, when money from a loan is spent purchasing existing housing or commercial buildings, that causes inflation exponentially greater than when the loan money is spent building new homes or commercial businesses .. the extra costs associated with shipping duel to fuel price rises is an order of magnitude lower than the extra business costs of rents for the storage facility or the factory or the store ... this has become a greater issue as ever more businesses rely on renting rather than owning their own building, not to mention the incentive to sell the land building to another business entity (or company structure) so as to take advantages of tax laws ...(e.g. pay high rents to a company registered overseas, so as to minimise profits in this country and pay less tax etc etc

It kind of goes both ways. In hard times, people are often too distracted or uneducated to identify the flaws. Populations that are unaware are also easier to manipulate by the central government. Given that poor people are often constantly working just to scrape by. You can buy them off with assistance programs and sports stadiums. Making them less resentful of their lack of social mobility. Although even affluent nations have their own methods of manipulation. Such as distraction through consumerism. Even social media plays into consumerism. Influencers are paid to push products. Which keeps naive people working to acquire them.

Hell, my wife is from Thailand. She worked 12 hours a day, six days a week, then helped her mom sell food on her day off. She made $600/month. The cost of electronics, sundries, and non-asian food is just as much there as it is here. You go to jail for criticizing the King, and virtually nobody speaks anything but Thai. In the EU, there is virtually no difference in the cost of anything from America, and salaries are often much lower. Of course, people speak more languages there because the countries are so small, there is more travel between them. Where the hell is she going? Mexico? Canada?

1. ALL you see in Brazil - especially around World Cup Soccer time is the Brazilian flag. 2. Languages - Well, if you want to compare Europe to the U.S. here is why they speak several languages - they have about 6 countries that all speak a different language in the same square miles as parts of our East Coast. So proximity is the reason. Think of Delaware, Rhode Island Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts all speaking different languages. Also, we only have 3 countries directly on our borders and all speak English. Lots of people, though DO learn Spanish.

rising fuel costs pale into significance when compared to housing costs and rents (domestic and commercial) ... the reality is, when banks givie loans, they are creating money supply out of thin air just as surely as the fed is... the problem is, if that money isnt being spent on increasing supply of in demand goods, you get inflation .... so, when money from a loan is spent purchasing existing housing or commercial buildings, that causes inflation exponentially greater than when the loan money is spent building new homes or commercial businesses .. the extra costs associated with shipping duel to fuel price rises is an order of magnitude lower than the extra business costs of rents for the storage facility or the factory or the store ... this has become a greater issue as ever more businesses rely on renting rather than owning their own building, not to mention the incentive to sell the land building to another business entity (or company structure) so as to take advantages of tax laws ...(e.g. pay high rents to a company registered overseas, so as to minimise profits in this country and pay less tax etc etc

@clot shots Because its too cold! Many people move to Canada too, and because they watch our tv, they think they are experts on the US! LOL
If America were to ever have an official 2nd language, it should be American Sign Language. Cause deaf people can’t do anything about their condition, but foreigners can learn our language

It literally hurts to watch your videos. Not because of you telling the truth, but because these morons actually exists. Thank God for Jameson, as your videos cause me to be a frequent customer. You’re doing God’s work, please continue. Even if it hurts me 😂

As someone who lives in India the multiple languages actually makes problems throughout the country because there is no unifying language. Also never seen someone give visitors a hard time
Thanks for keeping me abreast of this girls opinion :)

I’m just curious. Did she learn the language of the country(ies) she visited? Or did she rely on the fact that English is a universal language?

The English language is the "lingua franca" in many countries across the world. It is the default language used for communication between people of different mother tongues.

Get this girl a one way ticket to Cuba.
She has a point on the bread (and other food). If you want good bread, bake your own or purchase from a good bakery, because they put sugar in the crappy supermarket bread. If you raise salaries, prices (including rent) will go up. It happened here in San Diego. When they raised the minimum wage, my sister-in-law complained to her landlord, asking why he raised the rent. You want to know what he said? "Salaries went up so you can now afford to pay more". It used to be that people could afford to buy a house with one income and live a fairly comfortable life.

If you want good bread in thr U.S., go to a bakery. My mother went to a German bakery. You know that the white bread had no preservatives, because it got moldy a lot faster than Butternut or Wonder, sitting in the bread drawer. The solution is to put it in the fridge.
It seems like she just got back from her first trip outside of the U.S. which daddy probably paid for and is now a world traveler and expert on foreign cultures. From the looks of it in her life she is going to spend a lot more on food cuz in 10 years she will be over 200 #.

@Chris Maurer She probably got laughed at and spit on, too. Nobody likes the typical American tourist. And this is coming from a U.S. citizen himself who has traveled overseas multiple times.
Door dash didn't exist 20 years ago. It is a luxury. She is what we call entitled. Fake hair colour tells me she's at least wealthy enough to spend on frivolties.
