This video came at a perfect time as I’m eating chipotle in my car in the parking lot 😄 The #1 thing I find attractive in a man is when they worship the Lord without having to drag them to church, they do it on their own. That is a person that is letting himself be led by the Lord, it also gives the message that he will also one day will lead their own family.

@@marketa4074 Yes like it's breath taking when a petty girl is so confident she doesn't have to show off her body in an ungodly manner. It'll also attract more Godly men to you than dressing inmodest which will bring more lukewarm men to you. Also it should make you happy you're not being a stumbling block like Jesus said not to

Most attractive thing is loving Jesus and being fully submitted to Him. When a man defends someone weaker than him, that’s super attractive. Guys who are anti-abortion are so attractive! Also, when a man can have opinions of his own but also listen to people who disagree respectfully.

If a man does worship God in heart then he is marriage material, but this should be done of his own accord and without being coaxed BEFORE the dating process, if not then his faith is not real. @@mscottster444 it is possible to grow attraction to somebody if your compatible in other ways as long as they aren't unattractive to you. I've found most of the conventionally attractive women (especially those who aren't saved) have an air of entitlement that becomes much worse long term. Think about it this way, as a man you are always wanting to look for other women no matter how pretty they are, so beauty is only short term and doesn't matter after 3-5 years of marraige anyways. Rather be with someone I can have fun with.

  • @mscottster444

@@jdkayak7868 yeah I’m not saying I’m asking out a beautiful non-Christian girl, I am just saying unless a Christian female is physically beautiful to me I will not ask her out because unless it is related to her weight their is nothing she can do to be more physically attractive to me. Like if a women’s face turns you off for me it is a no-go. Someone once said if you can’t see yourself having sex with the female (or the male for a female perspective) with the lights on, don’t pursue it. I think beauty does fade of course, but I’m not one of the guys that can just flat it ignore it. One because to me it feels unfair to the women and two the Bible talks about beauty in some many places and it isnt just the stories like Sampson and Deliah, etc. But I definitely get your perspective! You are more than likely wiser than me!

Now becoming born again it makes me happy to eventually pursue a women and get to lead her spiritually. Especially how scripture calls us both to submit to each other but specifically a man to give himself up like Christ did for the church so a sacrificial leadership where you let your wife get what she wants like going out to eat or only a little money for new clothes let her get new clothes.

This is very interesting. Before I came to Christ (and later as I was in the process of coming to Christ), I was involved with a terrible, narcissistic man (though I didn't know this in the beginning, obviously). When I was crying one time, he actually said it was very unattractive. Later, all his lies came out, and it was so awful to learn to what he had done-and made what he said about my crying even crazier (clearly, I had been accurately sensing his crazy-making/what was going on). It's nice to hear a man who seeks after God say the opposite. God bless you both!

What I've been told by a male is most attractive about females is: their love for the Lord, simply being yourself, showing respect for others, hearing you talk about the Lord in a natural conversation.

things boys do that are unintentionally attractive: share their vulnerabilities, show kindness, make me laugh, believe in themselves, are unafraid to follow a woman's lead, have deep conversations, practice a life of compassion, accept and love all people without judgement, laugh at my jokes, make art or music, love nature, find joy in the ordinary, work at undoing their implicit biases, know how to forgive themselves and others, take responsibility for themselves, understand why purity culture is against god, are humble, treat every moment as sacred, have passion and a sense of purpose in their life, able to change their minds, good with animals and children, to name a few!

Love most of those things you listed there, but what do you mean when you say “Understand why *purity culture* is against God”? Are you saying that *purity* is against God (and you don’t need to wait till marriage ect.) or are you saying that the *culture* around certain purity issues is bad? (Like saying virginity is your greatest gift which shames people who did stuff before they became Christian and survivors of sexual abuses ect.)?

@@Knighty-hr2dw Hi Sarah, Anything that causes so much unnecessary suffering is against God. Anything which provides so much cover for sexual abuse and hatred of women is against God. Anything that uses shame and judgment to control people is against God. Anything that lies is against God. Anything that supports the idea that some of us are superior to others is against God. Anytime we use our sexuality to hurt others, as purity culture does, we are going against God. People often use God's name to go against God, to serve themselves at the expense of others, to make themselves feel morally superior. This is what purity culture does and that makes it even more sinful than other forms of misusing sexuality. In general, I'm not attracted to a man who thinks being faithful means policing or judging others as opposed to cultivating his own relationship with God.

There's nothing wrong with a girl initiating the conversation. It'll show she's friendly and easy to talk to but I agree that she shouldn't ask the guy out as it'll catch us off guard

@@vivaeuropa Thats just you. There are A LOT of shy guys. You know the famous rock climber, Alex Honnold? He was at a speaking engagement....at the end....his now wife made the first move and told him "You are cute" and invited him over to a get together that night. Guess what? They are married with a daughter. I know an ex Navy Seal who is happily married. Guess what? His beautiful wife made the first move.

I can't say I've never felt that way, however what helps encourage me to dress modestly even though it might not get me the most "attention" from guys is that the guys that would just pay attention to me because of how I'm dressed, or how much skin is showing, probably aren't the guys I would want the attention from anyway. In short: dressing modestly is protection, not just getting overlooked.

@@stacysummers8882 YES!!! Thank you it's so true I'm a follower of Christ and it's soooo attractive when girls dress modest it shows a different kind of confidence. Yeah when I was lukewarm I'd look at unmodest women and just think sexually while a modest women would always make me think she's wife material. Now I'll just assume they're lukewarm and fully avoid unmodest women because it's the first thing I can see about her.

If I respect a girl I am far more likely to be attracted to her. There are a few others you mentioned that I agree are attractive but that probably would not have ended up on my list because I think they're obvious.
