I love this, you guys are so sweet. I genuinely like you 😍. On the submission part, I think as Christians we should stop being apologetic when we talk about a wife submitting to her husband but implore it in a Godly way because what the Bible says about submission is not the same as the world's view. You were not at all apologetic but it's just a thought that came into my mind while watching this. I love seeing the respect between you both it's really admirable ❤️

As someone coming up to 36 years of marriage I can tell you that you are spot on with your points. I am married to the most selfless man. I always tell young friends that I can confidently say this: If we are in a room full of beautiful people my husband would only be looking at me. I say that to show his heart and mind are devoted to his wife. Also it's not big displays of affection or making a big show on particular holidays, but all the little things that matter. The thoughtful acts of doing a task for me that in our house is usually something I do or that special treat he picked up to surprise me. The everyday little things that just reflect that he's got you on his mind. On the flip side, as the wife, I strive to do for him because I want to be doing for him in return. The expression of LOVE breeds LOVE back. God has truly blessed this marriage and blessed me with the perfect husband for me.

Oh my goodness I loved this video. I would love a video on biblical submission because that gets me all riled up. You kind of touched on it a bit in this video, but most who attack submission don’t even know what it means in the Biblical context, which says in Ephesians which says “In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church - for we are members of his body” Submission is not living or acting in fear, nor is it putting your husband’s will above the will of God. The wife will surrender to the husband as he submits to God. This type of submission is waaaayyy different than what it’s portrayed as.

I love that you said “ be a one woman type of man”. At work I hear these men brag about cheating on their wives and being with a different women than their wife and their wife not knowing. It breaks my heart especially for the children and wives of these men, a true marriage is a covenant and commitment to live and behold one women and that’s so special but when you ruin it by cheating on your wife and not prioritizing your wife it’s just so destructive and sad.

Hi Nate and Sutton ! I’m happy you guys found each other. My girlfriend and I are from different cultures. I am from India. She is American. I like watching clean comedy movies and sitcoms from my language to keep my mood light and happy. My girlfriend couldn’t understand the language. American shows today are filled with vulgar comedy. It’s very hard to find clean comedy shows. I see you guys have a good sense of humor. What do you guys watch on TV ? If you could suggest some funny shows/sitcoms that you guys watch that would great !

You see her so frequently put him down and remind him of his failings, and yet she doesn't prop him up, appreciate him, compliment him, she is very cold and hard aroundd that. I wonder if she grew up in a Christian home where humility was seen as never praising others. He is a good husband, show him you appreciate him, and let him lead, at least sometimes girl! I bet if he got completely honest and wasn't afraid of her response he'd admit she's cold and hard at times. He's got enough demons to slay in the world, mountains to climb, his wife doesn't need to be the one crushing his spirit. Look at his posture after she says things to him, he shrinks. Emasculation 101.

having lust and not repenting of it and rebuking out of your life is beginning to consent to it and find it okay will begin to root in your life and the more you are okay with the more it grows and goes through its stages of sin till it will become full blown iniquity! SUCH truth..I am a living testimony that went through this and and went through all of the stages of this sin and it did carry into my marriage. GOD heard my cries and He answered!! He exposed it and brought forth healing back into my marriage and has been mending it PRAISE THE LORD!!!! CHRIST OUR LORD IS MERCIFUL!!! LAY OUR LIFE DOWN TO JESUS, CALL UPON HIS NAME, REPENT OF YOUR SINS! IT IS A DAILY LIFESTYLE!! DAILY!! A TRULY BORN AGAIN AND DOER OF THE WORD OF GOD!! USING THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT MAN WHO LIVES WITHIN US! DENYING THE FLESHLY DESIRES DAILY AND STRIVING IN YOUR WALK WITH CHRIST! AMEN!! GOD BLESS!

Submission is not a wife just obeying her husband no matter what. That is a frequently misunderstood word. People need to read the bible concerning that, even if they don't believe. Submission is each spouse acknowledging that they belong to one another through their bond of love, and they need to consider each other and admit when the other is leading the family in a better way; submission is to always remember the vows made to your spouse and keep to them no matter what, instead of listening to everything that's trying to tear up your marriage. Submission maintains equality in a marriage; it is the opposite of what modernists think it is.

Hi! A book that has helped me so much is Created to be a Help Meet by Debi Pearl. I think what has helped me the most is to realize that I am supposed to let my husband lead, to facilitate my husband in his leadership, and to be a source of counsel for my husband - like a sounding board - and he values my input. It is not easy, though. It wasn't something that came naturally to me, but once I realized from Authority on the subject, I have found such relief in letting go and submitting. I think culture has done such a number on men and women. It works the best when husbands do their Biblical part and women do their Biblical part...

She focuses on how he wasn't perfect at the beginning of their dating- what man is? Rather than thanking him for providing for her and her family so well. Geez, this is hard to look at and get through. It's been 2 minutes in and she has put him down 3 times already. Controlling and bitter- she needs to repent or this marriage may last, but the passion won't.

I love your videos, however I have a big problem with you using the words "anorexic" and "bulimic" when it comes to describing lack of spiritual consumption. Eating disorders go beyond simply not eating, it's a mental disorder that's one of the most difficult to treat. It's similar to how people say they have "OCD" just because they like their house clean or they get annoyed at a crooked picture on a wall. These things are not what OCD and eating disorders look like. Minimizing serious mental illnesses as funny quarks is dismissive to those tortured by them and discourages people from seeking help because no one understands the gravity of the these illnesses because people misuse the words. If you love people and want them to be healthy and happy and I ask that you do some research on what it really means to struggle with these disorders and use them more appropriately in the future.

I really enjoy you're video but when you say that cra word I shut you off To me the Bible should be taken all the way round to even words we speak as replacement of cussing . I've noticed so many Christians use words as if they are still living in the world . The Bible says to come out from among them be ye separated saith the Lord touch not that unclean thing so for people to see Christ it's not just in living and doing acts of kindness but what comes out of our mouths is a BIG fruit of Life . I just get disappointed :( I Love you guys .
