It's not about speed. It's route running. They have one of the fastest receivers in the league (Thornton), but he doesn't know how to get open in his routes

When he is running for his life behind a terrible O line throwing to receivers that can't get seperation... he's going to miss a few. Imagine him playing in the LSU or washington offense. He would be a heisman winner.

He's really athletic and has prototypical size, but his accuracy and footwork are sub par. As a Pat fan I wanted them to take J.J. over him. Hopefully a good QB coach gets a hold of him and he blossoms.

When Maye ran into the better defenses he struggled. He put up numbers against the bad ACC teams. He would of been destroyed in the SEC, you know who didn't, Jayden Daniels. Just saying.

He's over-rated, if anything. He went up against weak competition in the ACC! Daniels and Caleb went up against better competition. Maye turns the ball over more than Daniels, but his consistency and footwork can get better. Dude Maye is the third best quarterback in this draft, so I don't know what you're talking about!

Maye is the best QB in the draft. He is a true pocket QB and he can make every throw. He didn't have any help at UNC unlike Jayden at LSU and Williams at USC. Maye is going to be special. He only started 2 years for UNC, meanwhile Jayden is a 5 year college starter. Maye has a ton of room for growth and has yet to hit his ceiling. I don't think Jayden has the same potential. If you take away Jayden's legs and put him on the UNC roster he wouldn't even be in this discussion.
