There is no way that teams can play ANYTHING but STr8 Man or Full zone. Either Frees up Two Receivers one on one...Seems tough to defend regardless of the QB

Look at Minshew's numbers in 12 personnel. I saw a clip of Dan Orlovsky talking about it after the Bowers pick. Tops in the league type numbers. The Stache Brothers are gonna shock the league.

When you have Adams, Meyers, Mayer and Bowers running 12 personal makes a lot of sense

I believe the main reason most teams don’t run the 12 man personnel is the fact that the 12 personnel heavily relies on having two tight ends who are versatile enough to both block effectively and be credible threats in the receiving game. Without such players, the formation can become less efficient. If you happen to have two amazing tight ends (Raiders)… this could be a game changer

Kyle Juicysk is a sudo TE/FB for the 49ers. I believe Brock will play that role and some slot. 49ers definitely use Kyle J as a TE as well though

Raiders fans have to understand that Brock bowers is our weapon x not another tight end. He will create mismatches in 12 personnel that will stress the defense immensely.

when will you understand that Getsy will run a West Coast offense that is designed for quick YAC plays?! It’s quite the best system to play with super skilled 12 personel players.. Bowers, Mayer, Meyer, Adam’s are just perfect for that offense! I’d wish we would add a dual threat at RB and another WR though.

I love your videos I’m a die hard Raider fan. If I had 1 wish in the world I’d go to a game time are tough but your video gives me hope that we are going to be a good team.

Nice piece. I'm so glad we have Getsy and not Kingsbury. Its Getsy that will deploy a physical running game and be creative with Brock and with 12 personnel. Getting Brock is transformational and will allow Getsy and AP to double down on the physical run game mindset, yet be very dangerous from base formations. It becomes a simpler game of chess. 12 personnel will force teams to put 7 or 8 in the box and may force more one-on-one matchups. QB can then select the best matchups. Getsy uses lots of motion and formation changes pre-snap that help the QB analyze the defense. He uses different types of screen passes to get the ball on the perimeter or in space and in the hands of playmakers creating YAC opportunities. This is QB-friendly offense that gets the ball out quickly and moves the chains. Lets say they run 12 personnel 30-35% of the time depending on the opponent. There is still so much more Getsy can do with our set of weapons, especially with a much more accurate passer in AOC than he had in Chicago. If we get above average offensive line play and average 4 yards per carry, this offense will be very difficult to stop.

We should draft another tight end and throw three of them out there😂🏴‍☠️

He may not have top end speed but his acceleration and ability to take off the line makes up for it.

Buffalo uses Kincaid and Knox as their TEs. I think they will be using it a lot this year since trading away Diggs.

I like the RB by committee approach. Will give us fresh legs in the backfield and allow each back to get their game touches and display their individual skill set. No reason to wear the tires on 1 RB.

12 personnel definitely can help our QB room. They used Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith like that recently in Atlanta.

Great analysis! Teams will copy Raiders, if they are successful. It's a copycat league. Gotta be successful first. What about guys like Harrison Bryant & Cole Fotheringham. Coke most likely on Practice squad, but they could use Bryant as well. Good blocker, plus if defenses ate distracted with other players, could possibly scheme Harrison open. The TE spot for the Raiders (if used correctly) will become Dangerous. It'll create A LOT of mismatches!! 🍻

I support everything my Raider's do been bad since tuck rule now this is our destiny go Raider's.

Our biggest issue is definitely going to be the fact that we can't be in five men protection. We do not have a right tackle or one of the guard spots to do that

Is Getsy the OC to lead this type of offense? Is he creating a new playbook in the past two weeks because when he was hired, Getsy had no idea the Brock Bowers would be drafted at 13. He may have had maybe 15-20 plays with 12 personal. Now if this is our base offense, we will need 5x that amount. How many plays has he designed for Brock Bowers, a player that is unique to almost all player in the NFL. I compare him to someone like Debo Samual in versatility.

@@user-ey2ql5zz7t My point tis whatever playbook Getsy came to the Raiders with is insufficient if we are going to be running 12 personally most of the time. I understand you can design a couple of plays for Bowers, I'm talking about a reboot of the entire playbook. Reason being our offense will be very predicable with 12 personal become we have a limited amount of plays.

I remember McDaniel saying he was going to run a lot of two TE plays, But like you mentioned, he almost never did it under 2 yards needed. The funny thing is, he mentioned that he was going to do it when they were addressing us having a right side offensive line who was in need of a lot of help. Our offensive line should be a little bit better than it was last year, but I don’t see it being tremendously better. This is my biggest concern. Is Gardner Minshew or Aiden O’Connell going to do tremendously better than Derek Carr could? No. Not unless they do something to add a lot of protection in the pocket,, Like one full second up to 1.2 seconds More protection time. I like Aiden, and long-term think he has potential to be a better QB than carr, But he isn’t there yet. Sanjit, I’m very anxiously awaiting more detailed videos about what you see in this season’s offense of line, and running the 12 personnel will affect that.

We need recievers who run precise routes and with both TEs ,Adams these are those type of guys and they play into AOCs strengths, anticipation throws and accurate throws, they have a chance to be extremely dangerous

Most team don't run 12 personnel, because most teams don't have Bowers / Meyers at TE. The raiders can absolutely force teams into what WE want them to run on defense. Base package? Play action and pick on the LB. Nickel package?? We run the ball into the smaller DB.

Bruhhh I literally got shitted on for saying they aiming for the 2 TE elite system exactly like the patriots did or have a big TE ELITE like the chiefs, And everyone said Aiden isn’t mahomes or Brady.

Everyone got in their emotions about the pick that they didn’t see the system they’re going to run this season.

Also w the 12 personnel being huge in the trenches has to be a thing and that’s why JPJ eventually moving to center is the key down the line maybe getting another nasty guard and seeing if Thayer works out getting a nasty RT. These guys are small in the league so pounding the rock w a huge line and staying in 12 personnel could prove to be issues for defenses against this offense.

I hope Getsy is in the think tank right now working on the blue prints. RAIDERS BABY

Mayer: 27 catches/40 targets, 2TD, 304yd. Not bad. His lack of breaking out wasn't related to him. As far as where Bowers lines up, they could line him up as a fullback, then slide him over a few steps right before the play starts and use him as a lead blocker. I'm sure that defenses will appreciate that as much as him catching screens or going over the middle on a slant.
