Hey Bud, save those stumps and gnawed up pieces for taxidermy mounts. Chainsaw an end off and make some cool mounts or trade with your taxidermist, it's tough to recreate what a beaver naturally makes.

Whenever you are using a cable retraint, it is always a good idea to put out other traps near because the caught beaver will draw the attention of other beavers. A very effective technique to catch multiples at one location.

Those big beaver chewed logs would look sweet in the man cave. Or in a mount some how.

Damn lol looks like a war zone, I’ve only had one property here like this and it had serpentine dams almost 1.5 miles think there were 10-12 big to micro dams caught tons of beaver, good luck put the smack down on em and bring a flotation device 😂😂

I really hope you hammer the hell outta them beavers with all that sign!! I'm still checking my sets every day, it's like the yotes have abandoned my woods now. I'm confused as F. Outta 8 cameras I has 9 distinctly different dogs and 12 that looked different but were to close for me to decipher positively. Now in the past month, nothing, not one damn dog. I added 4 cell cams on the hottest trails and nothing. Not even a print. But I do have 2 of the BIG Coyotes on cameras now. WTF?

Think they come to my place. Didn't see a shooter buck but saw coyotes at 4 out of 5 blind locations. 😐

It would definitely be awesome to see two beavers caught in that 660!!! It could happen but they would have to be swimming side by side and go threw at the same time or at least one going opposite direction and try going threw at the same time!!!

That's not a trap, this is a trap! lol! That trap is huge. You must be expecting an 80lb beaver. There will be fur in them traps, come the morning.

Love your videos J, been subscribed for a couple years now. You inspired me to set a couple traps and cables on my place, at 74 yrs old. Got one question. How big of a loop and how high? Set some at 10 and 10 and got a deer, the cable worked, she ran off😊.

@@TrapperJOutdoors I don't charge if they private or are in my circle (12×12sqm), but I can't imagine doing anything for the wildlife department or a business for free. I'd be worried about the legalities of something going wrong not to be contracted out. And the money too lol 🤣
