The Worst Thing A Fan Did To Me.

Ойын-сауық

You asked so I shall answer. In this video I'll tell you the worst thing a fan has said to me, how I can come up with so many new guitar solos, what you need to be become a "successful" musician and the artist I'd most like to collaborate with (along with a few other things). Thank you again for all your questions, I really enjoy interacting with all of you who watch this channel OUR channel, you could say. A big thanks and gratitude to those of you who gave me a SuperThanks, your generosity is incredible. I will bring my daughter out for a trip on a speedboat next week as a special treat!

I saw you mention a few of your vintage synths a few weeks back, but I haven't yet heard you mention anything about the DX7! Apologies if it's common knowledge - I'm a new fan of the channel and have been relentlessly working my way through your past videos 😄👍 I never really got into The Darkness before now, but I was SO happy to find your channel and find that we shared so many thoughts and opinions. It has honestly been just a wonderful pool of wisdom for me to spend time with. Thank you!

I was in a very popular local band for years and the worst thing that a "fan" ever did to me was unplug my guitar during a guitar solo and told me that "I sucked" and they wished that "I was never born." That was the last time I ever invited my mother to a show.

Hey Justin, just wanted show some appreciation for your channel. I’ve never been a ‘Darkness’ fan, but not not a fan, if that makes sense. It just been a case of too much music, too little time. But watching you, I really appreciate your passion, knowledge, humour, and calming presence. Watching you over the last few months I think I better delve into the catalogue now, I’m pretty certain it’s gonna be a fun ride. Thanks again for the content mate, it’s awesome stuff, cheers from Oz.

Nothing but love for Justin. My Darkness - Danko Jones - Headstones playlist gets me through chemo. It's the perfect mix of getting your head out of that hospital setting and powering up my "fuck cancer" vibe. Without music, I'd be stuck in that chair with no way to tune any of it out. Last run I wrote out "Lucas June 7th 1963" on my paperwork, just to avoid removing my earbuds to answer the check question, "Last name and date of birth?" Keep on rocking Justin and yes, do it for me specifically.

Justin, I was there right in front of you & Dan when you guys played in Berlin last Saturday. I've been to your gigs many times over the years and as much as the crowd wasn't the greatest this time around, having the experience of singing my heart out throughout the whole set and locking eyes with you (PLUS trading affectionate heart gestures with yourself) will be something I'll always remember fondly - even if you ended up hitting my girlfriend's eye when you threw your pick for her to get it. You inspire me deeply. Much love to you and the whole band, you are legends.

Also what do you think of musicians (like walk off the earth) , who became viral with a youtube cover, which then launches them on to success and awards. Or I guess your thoughts on the different mediums ( spotify, youtube etc. ) used to share/Sell music and art seeing as the classic cd/ record store system is dare I say it .. aging ( former HMV employee lol) Also when Will the Darkness be touring Canada? All the best , thanks , R

Hi Justin! What you have is really outstanding relative pitch, which I think is better, because I have heard and read that perfect pitch is age limited, meaning you lose perfect pitch as you get older. Relative pitch is forever, as far as I know, because I'm old and still have it. It's my only superpower, other than ADHD which is why I type out long replies in comments to people who will never read them. Hope I'm not too annoying.

@ 6:13 I thought you were playing the intro to Uncle Tom's Cabin by Warrant for a second...

3:02 Similar chord progression to one in S&G’s “Scarborough Fair” and Metallica’s “The Unforgiven”.

I love Radiohead and I was absolutely blown away by The Darkness's rendition of Street Spirit. I have a Brian May BG special guitar, it's just a fat, big, rich, lush sound. Great guitars. I believe the commenter is confusing perfect pitch, with relative pitch. Perfect pitch actually makes it harder to be in tune all the time. Relative pitch means you are 99.99% of the time in the correct pitch within the scale you are using. Much love to you Mr. Hawkins ♡

Now that I think of it. I decided to get a Brian May guitar after seeing a live video of "I believe in a thing called love" where you were playing with Brian May. The tone difference between your Les Paul and his Old Lady was very interesting and exciting. Much love!

I believe in a thing called love got my attention, Growing on Me was the song that made me a fan. Well, GYHOMWMF also. Three questions: BabyMetal, Gnome, and did you have time to enjoy "The Todd Rundgren Radio Show" LP?

I wonder if that actor based his character after Justin like Johnny Depp based his pirate after Keith Richards.

Justin, we a know about your affinity for AC/DC and Queen, but I was wondering if Sweet was a big influence? I was listening to the Sweet Fanny Adams LP and I can hear Darkness-like sounds throughout.
