My list: Lençóis Maranhenses, Brazil: a desert crisscrossed by lagoons formed from rainwater. The ground below is rocky, so the water doesn't get absorbed by the ground and just stays there, slowly evaporating but being filled again by the next rainfall. Wave Rock, Australia: a tall rock formation shaped like a wave about to crash on the ground below. Lake Baikal, Russia: it has the only fresh water species of seal, it has 20% of the planet's fresh water and it's believed to be the oldest lake on Earth. Lake Retba, Senegal: IT'S PINK. Mount Erebus, Antarctica: the southernmost volcano on Earth. It has an active lava lake on it's summit, despite being surrounded by ice. Pamukkale, Türkiye: a cascading hot spring with crystalline water lakes on many terrace-like structures.
After Uluru, You showed a photo of the Olga's, not Mt Augustus. I've been to all three coz I live here in Australia 🇦🇺

I was going to make the same comment .
Salar de Uyuni is amazing. If you go to South America for a round trip. Do not miss this one.
I would love a series for this
The Danakil Depression in Ethiopia as a place that literally looks like an alien planet. It has green, yellow and white sulfur geysers and steambeds everywhere, it is also in a junction between 2 or 3 tectonic plates, meaning earthquake are able to happen at any moment. There are also 2 volcanic lakes in the area.
The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie in China is bigger and deeper than the USA grand canyon

That's true and it's beautiful. Shame I can't risk visiting it under the current administration because my KZread history says I'm a dangerous activist😅

You can't however see it the same way as the Grand Canyon as it's not as pronounced nor contrast to the surrounding last around it...and it's in China..most Americans wouldn't go there unless they were take. Against their will
Great video. ❤
Mauna Kea stands 13,800+ feet above the ocean. If it was to be measured from the ocean floor is 33,841 feet, or 10,205 meters. It would be taller than Everest by over 3500 feet.
This video should have been called "The World's Largest Geographic Structures"
Hey man, I've been to the Uyuni Salt Flats and its absolutely stunning, a marvelous view and one that I recommend everyone to visit at least once in their lifetime. I've been there in dry season where there's no water in the floor and despite it not having that mirror-like appearance, it's easier for the tour guide to drive through the flats. I recommend you get a local tour guide because you need to have someone that knows how to get by in Bolivia, for there are a lot of people that are trying to scam you and make your life harder 😂.
4:13 "Mount Kea" is incorrect and the mountain is never referred to in this way. It is always referred to by its Hawaiian name, "Mauna Kea." Yes, "Mauna" means "mountain" ("Mauna Kea" means "White Mountain"), but "Mount Kea" just sounds weird and wrong.
Victoria Falls in Africa and Iguazu Falls in South America are two of the largest waterfall complexes on the planet. The Drakensburg range in South Africa and Lesotho has an incredibly long continuous cliff face. The Amazon forest is so huge that it covers and area roughly the size of the 48 contiguous state of the USA. In the mouth of the Amazon river, the island of Marajó is almost as large as the country of Kuwait. Just a few geographic features to ponder.
@2:54 I once read the sea cliff of Île de l'Eat, in the Crozet Islands, was the highest.
Northwest Canada or Northeast Canada?

I noticed that, too. Mount Thor is in far northeast Canada.
Uyuni is amazing! Lived and worked in Bolivia so been a few times - there is unique vegetation on the "islands". Try to overnight in the Salt Hotel - made entirely of blocks of salt. Great route across the Andes to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile - the driest settlement on earth with no rainfall in living memory. That was true in 2005 but can't speak for the last 15+ years!
@5:53 I always thought the longest unbroken sandy beach was Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh
U - LU - RU.
Thank you for the world tour. What a beautiful planet we live on.❤
A good video but I can’t the fact that you say mount thor is in Canada’s north west near Greenland. When Greenland is to Canada’s north east
Mt. Thor would be in the northeastern part of Canada, not northwestern. Cool video though and I didn't know about Mt. Thor!
I've always loved Mount roraima. I believe it's the largest flat top mountain. Not sure what the sciencey name for it is

In fact it has its own terminology, it’s called a “Tepui”
in Brazil, there are also Lençóis Maranheses, a very unique place
The clip you showed describing the salt flat ....the small pyramid like structures.. that's actually in India, in the state of Gujarat.... The salt flat here is called Kachh...
Do a list of deepest depression points on land
Many people don't know that the largest volcanic formation on the Earth isn't located in Pacific Ocean or the Americas, but in India. Deccan Plateau which is covers peninsular region of India was formed millions of years ago by the vigorous volcanic activity. The height of this structure can go as long as 1000+ metres and it has vast deposits of natural resources.
I think the extensive Karst regions of South China and SE Asia (I believe they're the largest Karst region in the world) should also be included in this video
Not a good start when you talk about mt Augustus in western australia, but show a picture of Kata Tjuta just 40 km away from Uluru in the northern territory. Facts checking people.
You forgot Roraima and the Angel Falls which are really impressive in every single aspect!
Whats up with countries and splitting mountains and volcanoes between two or more of them. example Mt Everest between Nepal and China
If I remember correctly, the famous summit of Mount Blanc in Europe is actually granite and is an intrusion of the African plate up through the Eurasian plate. That's kind of impressive, no?
The Burj Khalifa still shocks me to this day.

Within 12 hours!
are u sure the pyramide like structures, formed by salt deposits, aren´t man made?
Uluru (Ayer's Rock) is pronounced closer to oo-loo-roo
Sorry wrong info, the longest uninterrupted beach in the world is Coxsbazar in Bangladesh 🙄
Lake titicaca is famous amongst German kids as it sounds very vulgar in German it would be translated to: lake boobiepoo
Flat Earther’s losing their minds at “northwest Canada close to Greenland”
Thats not Mt Augustus, my friend, thats the Olgas, or Kata Tjuta. But you are correct mt augustus is the largest monolithe, you just used the wrong video. Peace!
I don't think a "lake" drying up produces a salt flat. It would require seawater, right?

The Great Salt Lake and the salt flats in Utah?
Why call Uluru and Burringurrah by it's colonial name? Seems like a slight, I guess British gotta British
The part of Canada next to Greenland is the northeastern side, but he calls it Canada’s northwest @ 2:56. My geography OCD has been triggered and now think this channel is subpar for such a simple yet insanely erroneous mistake
Hard to take ya serious when even just the names of these places are incorrect. Super disrespectful to get the names of sacred places like Uluru and Mauna Kea wrong (and worse, to REPEATEDLY use a colonial name). Glad to see a few places other folx don't often do, but please do better fact checking. Greenland is EAST of Canada & Mt Thor nowhere near the northwestern part of Canada. Alaska, for example, is northwest of Canada.
Total click bait.
We don't call it 'Ayers rock' any more (quite insensitive to the traditional owners now 🤔🫢)! Also, it's pronounced OOL la ROO but spelt Uluru🤗
Hello! Do you have an email address?
So many underwhelming facts!
