my heart hurt so much when i heard about the acting of our police. i would only be ashamed of my country. i my youth all our teachers taught us about the terrible pains of war. not only nazi war but all wars. we even where taken to the graveyards of france where crosses of thousands of soldiers are an impressive history lesson. it is a shame that mr varoufakis was banned and the congress was ended. i have no word for the shame about my country and government. i do not support the crimes against plastina. i do not stand with the murderers.

To be clear: I am "German"-born but my name is Cornelius, from the greek tribe of the Cornelian and I neither approved of what Europe did to Greece, of which I have beautiful memories from childhood hollydays, during their financial crises nor do I approve of what Israel is doing for decades to Palastine. I also did not approve on the illegal war against Syria nor any other war whatsoever. Weeping for Palestine too - but only for about half of the Israeli people, the other half is happy about the actions of their government and thinks the Israeli government should do more than it already does - according to poll-data! And don't forget the Israeli settlers shooting down the rightful owners of the homesteads they would like to have. So don't assume those have been betrayed by their leaders.

Scary! This showing of German Police Force did nothing for Peace and damaged their reputation. It was a mixed audience for a Palestinian Congress desiring a civil discussion for Peace. What's wrong with that? Yanis, so intelligent and holistic-minded, will be remembered in History as a hero and force for Good. Such a brilliant historic speech for permanent documentation was prevented though his speech could have helped create a PEACE PLAN. His speech sounds like a great debate by itself ! Many Germans would have agreed with this, for sure!

What lesson is there to be learned? They're an occupied country, a colony which cannot go against the commands of its overlords. They're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

That "congress" had no intention of discussing the HAMAS issue at hand in any meaningful way. This was NOT a congress about finding meaningful solutions, but a congress about antisemitism. And i'm not using the word antisemitism lightly. The terror attack of hamas wasn't even mentioned in the proclamation of that congress. That is a truth that shouldn't be hidden. That congress was never about achieving a sustainable peace. It was only about hating jews.

The speech of Mr. Varoufakis is balanced, rational, and unbiased. It puts forward a the methods of peacefully It is comforting to know that there are sane, peace loving resolving conflicts through civilized discussion rather than savage killing. Through words instead of bombs. It is heartwarming to see that there still are political leaders who think in terms of justice, peace, equality, freedom, and universal human rights. Such leaders are in short supply these days and are so badly needed. Thank you Mr. Varoufakis, you are a glimmer of light in a sea of darkness.

I think you are failing to realise the agenda of HAMAS to create an ISLAMIC CALIPHATE . . . their primary aim!! They care little for the Palestinians . . .that is why they have stolen their food, used them as human shields precisely because forever before ISRAEL would never shoot if there was a civilian involved. Hamas knew this, and used it to the full. OTHERWISE it would not have been necessary or useful for them to make military bases under every single civilian institution, school, hospital, etc.
