He also held a panel at the New York Comic Con that I went to last year. It was cool to see him in person talk about his time during and after "Blue's Clues".

Steve Burns isn’t really that bad. He is a good guy. The world is just scared that he was gone. Jennette McCurdy going through abuse because of her mother is awful. No child should be hurt by their family, whether it is their parents, siblings, cousins or anyone.

Though I don’t remember watching blues clues as a child, my older brother grew up with it. He did got emotional when he saw the video while I went what.

Drake Bell's downfall ends up reminding me of a particularly dark episode of "Drake and Josh", where one brother finally goes one too far (unintentionally and by accident); in response the other just shuts him out of his life.

I think I know which episode you're talking about. It's the one where Josh got tired of Drake always taking advantage of him and decides to just give him the cold shoulder. Josh's life improves a little bit in terms of being less stressed and his rash clearing up, but Drake becomes miserable and starts having bad luck. I saw it on TeenNick a couple times in reruns.

The episode is called Josh is Done. Josh's life improved only during that episode because of just what Drake put him through in THAT episode. To be honest Josh has been the black sheep ever since their parents got married. Everybody prefers Megan and Drake, they laughed at Walter and Audrey is just Audrey and both parents ignore how Megan mistreats both boys, whereas if girls prefer Drake.

Drake only apologized because he can't stand being in Josh's shoes even for one day. If it was more than one episode, I can understand why Josh accepted the apology, but in that episode the apology to me meant nothing.

It's good to know Jennette McCurdy is in a better place. Ariana is actually a year younger than her. Drake Bell's wife Janet recently filed for divorce most likely due in part to him driving their car while high off balloons with their son in the back seat. His life is really falling apart. Steve Burns had many death rumors after his departure from Blues Clues. I heard he died from a drug overdose back in 2002, which is completely false considering he's still alive. People still believed these death rumors by the late '00s despite the fact that the internet became more advanced and they could do their own research on whether or not Steve was still living. He was definitely a victim of several cruel online hoaxes. I personally feel like Amanda Bynes may have schizophrenia based on her behavior. The only ones who know for sure is her family and maybe close friends. She may be somewhat functional if she takes medication similar to Britney Spears with whatever mental illness she has. The only thing we can do is hope Amanda continues to get the help she needs.

@@cherishxoxo2738 It's definitely a sad story as far as he's concerned. He really had no one to protect him when he was a child actor. He was exploited and is now lashing out at the world. Some speculate that he may also be a victim of childhood sexual abuse especially since he was on trial for having an inappropriate relationship with a 15 year old back in 2017. I assume the reason why Janet's filing for divorce is because close family and friends of hers may have suggested it and she may be feeling like their marriage isn't worth saving considering all that's came out against Drake.

@@truthseeker9249 It's easy to misinterpret something. Happened to me before several times. 😅 No, I wasn't saying Jennette is dead. But, I did mean to say she's doing better. She struggled with anorexia and bulimia for a long time. And it's because her mother was teaching her how to starve herself instead of eating a well balanced diet and exercising to maintain a healthy weight. If she did the latter, Jennette would still be slim but not overweight. I personally can relate considering my own mother constantly made remarks about my weight even when I was still skinny. It's the reason why I've been overweight for years. But, I am trying to lose weight and make healthier food choices.

I just need to shave off tummy, back and thigh fat and I'm good to go. The problem is I'm short and apparently I'm way overweight for my short stature and my grandma never misses a beat in reminding me to lose weight or not to get fat.

It makes sense though. Jeanette was a very rising and prominent star. Then she was promised her own show, with mention of being able to direct some of the episodes. Then, it is all crushed. She had to act with a box while Ariana got to sing at huge awards shows and it felt to Jeanette that she had to turn down other roles while Ariana was able to do anything

@@seandaniels7938 Bella Thorne had problems prior to acting. She’s more like Jeanette in a way, tho Jeanette dealt with domestic abuse, Bella was the breadwinner for her family after her father died. It’s not about flashiness. It seems like the only ppl who get out safely are the ones who actually just wanted to act. Arianna and Drake wanted to sing. Bella and Jeanette didn’t want to act at all. Zendaya, Josh, etc. made it out better off. Some of them also made it out well if they had a good support system, like Dylan and Cole.

Wish people would actually do more research into the Drake Bell's allegations before immediately coming to conclusions.

Steve coming back as a cool detective you got to see once in awhile on Blues Clues is such a cool in universe idea. For new fans it prompts the question "who's this guy? and why is is so mysterious?" and for old fans(the grown-ups) its "hey he's back.

I never really bought that "shield kids from violence" crap. Kids are inherently violent, nasty little bastards, as anyone who's been a kid can attest to.

Steve Burns made it out mostly unscathed compared to Jennette and Drake for example being scarred for life by Schneider. Though in all fairness, Angela Santomero and Traci Paige Johnson (Blue) are genuinely good women compared to Schneider being a monster.

Blue's Clues was my absolute favorite show when I was little and Steve leaving absolutely destroyed me. I had thought that I had moved past that long ago but when he came back to tell us that he never forgot us was more than enough to wreck me all over again. Even though I'm in my 30s now every time I see that video it manages to bring me to tears.

I used to own a few Blues clues tapes and would watch them all the time and genuinely believed that Steve and Blue was visiting us when we watched them so when that tweet was posted I just about cried at from all the nostalgia that came flooding in now my nephew watches the old and The new Blues Clues

Drake didn't do nothing. The girl that took him the court was lying to everyone about what he did to her just to gain sympathy. Plus the girl's ex friend was at the hotel and Drake DID not lay one finger on her at all. The police department had looked into the situation and didn't find any evidence of trace of what he did to her at all. So she had pretty much made the whole story up just to get him in trouble out of spite and revenge because she was so mad that he kept ignoring her. And with that, He blocked her after she told him her age. Drake unknowingly talked to the girl because he didn't know her age at first but when he did he blocked her. And the girl would sneak into Drake's concerts using a fake ID just to get closer to him because that's how OBSSESSED she was. And she'd also stalk him and his ex wife's Instagram accounts ontop of that to. So Drake was never in the wrong if you listen and go into full detail of the story he's actually innocent. The internet and news headlines just like to twist people's words, and it doesn't help that the people who call him a "pedophile" all the time just read the first headline and call it a day. It's sad honestly.

When it comes to Drake Bell’s 2021 legal troubles you left out some important information like a good amount of the media did. Most of the allegations the girl made against him were proven false and it can be seen in the trial after she gives her testimony once the evidence is presented disproving what she said about him. The only thing Drake pled guilty to was messaging the girl in the first place when she reached out to him first and it was revealed she lied about her age to him, that was the deal he was offered. None of the inappropriate images and remarks she claimed and over exaggerated, as well as any physical and sexual abuse were true and were proven by a thorough investigation of drakes phone, eye witness testimonies and security footage that her claims were false. Drake could make a comeback from that but the media has twisted the situation against him even though he was mostly innocent just for views because it sold better that a public figure was guilty.

Men are always demonized and dragged through the mud for things they didn't even do. So I don't blame Drake for being hurt by Josh turning his back on him. Josh really was his best friend. No matter what happened in his life he always had his friendship with Josh to get him through it. To see that Josh didn't care about him the same amount must have broken his heart.

On another note about Drake Bell he’s also becoming the voice of Spider-Man first in Earths Mightiest Heroes infamously redubbing the lines from his debut episode Along Came A Spider which that role was meant for Spectacular Spider-Man Josh Keaton as Drake would later voice the wall crawler in Ultimate Spider Man, Avengers Assemble and Hulk and Agents Of Smash

It's crazy that drakes life pretty much went the same way as that episode of drake and Josh where Josh stops hanging out with drake and his life gets so much better and drakes turns to shit

It became a family ritual, and none of my peers knew wth I was referencing, because we were too old to be watching that. I was in 8th grade at the height of Blue's Clue's. Talk about feeling old 😂

directly after watching this i read the wiki for jeanette mccurdy and holy shit im glad her mum died too how she is still a stable and good person is amazing also im not really sure how steve burns is a "victim" but seeing him again after about 15 years is great and its great to see him doing well

I have a rather different view on children maybe 3 to 7 should watch. As a four-year-old I was probably more attracted towards Lion King then I was, say, Barney or Blue's Clues. The fact that it treated me intelligently and showed me things that most cartoon wouldn't... Now don't get me wrong I do love the 90's cartoons and Pokemon stuff like that! You should have a variety as a kid! But I felt like Disney had faith in children at times. Bambi, Pinocchio has dark moments. But LK, Lilo and Stitch, Iron Giant (nir Disney) took chances. A lot of Nickelodeon cartoon Network had jokes that flew over kids heads. Kids need to be morally and emotionally challenged. That's not to say that we should do away with little kid shows like paw patrol or Bluey. And even Bluey challenges a lot! I remember watching a few episodes of Dragon tales when I was a kid and thinking... Thank you my intelligence by by. In my unpopular opinion preschool shows should be more challenging. I think even Lion Guard was pushing the boundaries; notice how it wasn't more popular. I applaud shows like Gravity Falls, Owl House, Steven Universe, Star Vrs. For not being afraid to push even further and have more serious themes. Basically, by four child is going to be watching Avatar over Bubble Guppies. Well-rounded.

Like, people REALLY thought Steve was dead. I remember being upset about this rumor in the 2000’s and went to look it up. Turns out he was just fine. Yeah, bipolar disorder my ass. As someone with bipolar disorder, I think Amanda made that statement (after a different one, and then going back on both saying she has no mental disorders) because she was afraid of the stigma associated with schizophrenia. Instances of bipolar disorder just appearing at 21 are few and far between. Symptoms typically appear early in life, because it's a disorder of chemical brain makeup. Unfortunately, it's often misdiagnosed as ADHD, and the reverse misdiagnosis occurs as well. Proper diagnosis usually isn't until mid-teens, BUT symptoms are there throughout, regardless of a proper diagnosis or not. Additionally, for kids misdiagnosed, it's typically caught due to medication not working (medicating a bipolar with a stimulant will just make the condition worse). Schizophrenia on the other hand, is usually completely asymptomatic until early to mid-twenties, except in very rare cases of early-onset schizophrenia. On top of _all_ of that, aside from the impulsive and/or reckless behaviour she was exhibiting, all of the other strange symptoms (talking to nonexistent entities, extreme paranoia, etc. We all saw the videos) are not typical of hypomanic or manic states. But bipolar disorder is a more "acceptable" diagnosis in Hollywood than schizophrenia - which is bullshit, but that's a different can of worms. It's also the first diagnosis she announced - before retracting it, then claiming BD, then denying both, then coming back to BD. It just sucks because it only adds to the stigma and misconceptions around what BD is 😩

Blue’s Clues was a staple in my childhood for sure, but one thing I find funny, is that I actually never saw the episodes where Joe was introduced, and when Steve left the show. So from my perspective, I was greeted by a complete stranger that wasn’t wearing the right colour of shirt, and there was no mention of Steve anywhere. Though thankfully I never heard of any rumours of his supposed death. When both he and Joe came back for the reboot, that was truly amazing. I even watched an episode of the new series with Josh, and he’s also an amazing host. And yes, that post of him having a heart to heart with the viewer hit me in the gut.

Some more dropped characters are Josie from Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn and Gooch from Henry Danger. If you do a sequel. I hope they get covered. Cancel

Jennite story was sad i wish her the best in the future

When I was 12 I watched icarly. I love sam (jennete) because she's very nice and fun. But after what I heard what happen to jennete I kinda feel bad for her. I thought She was lucky in Nickelodeon but she was'nt lucky in acting when being forced what her mom forced her to do im also proud that jennete's mom died.
