I liked how you widened out that granny grate and also the gun-tower. Also I like the resin and the shanty. Also the whole thing is pretty sweet.

A little eco-friendly tip: I´ve seen many terrain projects where people fill empty space with perfectly usable materials. So, almost everything you buy (mostly food) comes in plastic bags that go to the trash. If you clean them, let them dry, and save them, when you need to fill something, instead of using cardboard or other material that maybe isn't expensive but it's usable, you can recycle plastic. The oceans will thank you if you do that.

You are probably the best at weathering these type of projects.

It'd be a cool experiment to try to do multiple layers of the masking technique, like it's an ancient machine that's had millennia of basic maintenance done to it.

Another home run! As others have pointed out, your weathering is the best in the game, and I consider the drooping wires to be one of your signature moves, I never really saw anyone else integrating that until you came around. You have become an absolute heavyweight in the game in such a short amount of time, I'm always stoked to see a new video in my notifs. Keep up the good work man, we all love it!

I cannot wait for your 'I quit my job to focus on my channel' video, you are hands down the best crafter. Great personality, great humor, awesome little tidbits of knowledge. I really enjoy how you just keep moving on your builds, not trying to reach any particular plateau. Just go until you feel done. And these collaborations are just a great way to spread participation in the hobby because it highlights that there’s no real “right” way to build something, and inspiration can go in many directions. I finished the natural bridge you inspired me to make with your last vid. Dry brushing the lighting effects was a genius move. Now I want to build something like this too. You have some of the best builds on the tube.

I feel like you guys both diverged from the original concept art in some pretty interesting ways. You seemingly took a mess of doodles and slight concepts and turned it into a refined art piece and Miscast took a well-illustrated concept and gave up after the first part and glued an alien under it.

Damn, that was cool as hell. I had a big stupid grin on my face for most of this video. It was so much fun to watch. Your rust effects are amazing! Best rust effects I've seen on anyone's channel. Loved this build a lot, thanks for sharing!

Superb piece! The only thing I'd add for extra detail would be a tiny chain and hook to that crane, and maybe some sort of dangling broken and rusted piece of machinery hanging from it. That would tell a story of its own!

Man, you're a beast at cutting foam with knifes (such clean cuts), you truly have studied the blade!

Use packing tape or painters tape, for some reason resin doesn’t like to stick well to either. Love what you did with the grating, literally said “wish I’d thought of that!”

Epic. This use of that goop you pull off is the best Ive seen for weathering. Ive used it in actual paintings on canvas for detail work, but never thought to use it like this. Very cool...

this is unbelievably cool, I love the chain hanging over the waterway, I could instantly imagine players trying to swing across it!

I'm still not brave enough to pour resin in any large quantities but thanks for the tips and the great build!

Hahaha i was shaking like a leaf doing this. Easy Cast is pretty forgiving as resin goes if you want to dip your toe someday. Except for that one time when i poured it too thick and it started smoking

Have you seen any of Scratch-Bashing's videos? There is a guy with a bitz warehouse rather than a bitz box :D I actually like the way that Erics uses basic stuff I might be able to get my hands on without having to turn in to a total pack-rat. :D

Excellent taste in drawing books!

Silicone spray is an excellent release agent. You can buy it at auto stores. Of course a coat of warmed Vaseline works well too. Any petroleum based, not organic based release agent can be used.
