Hey you legends! Thank so much for the shout out, you both totally deserved a bottle on us, a cheap one 😆😆😆 Glad you're feeling better Denise, you both look really happy and healthy! Great ep too, we've been rethinking our idea of towing when we're back over the ditch, and this video has made us think even more, had no idea the different it costs, really. Mmmm interesting. Oh, and we're always behind with episodes, you've got to stop sometimes and just enjoy aye! Loved it! Looking forward to the next! Yeeewww!! 🤙

Many remote roadhouses are isolated and self sufficient. They're not on a power grid. They MAKE their own power, either with diesel run generators and/or solar panels. As a result, IMO, installing charging stations for EV cars is not something they're going to want to rush into, nor think important! Their priority is ensuring THEY have power for their cool rooms, their bowsers, their lights, their needs!

It’s not a good look criticising other people rigs to justify you’re fuel usage a bit disappointing.

@@stevegordon-hall2732 Not criticizing. As someone who has lived in remote WA, I am just stating the facts. That is life in remote/outback WA. Remote places are just that. Remote. You generate your own power. Travelling and living in outback places is tough!

@@stevegordon-hall2732 we wasn’t criticising, we were just being honest about what we saw on the road, lots of people struggling with bonnets up to cool engines. We did the same with the Triton, on paper it says it tows 3.1 but it struggled with towing 2.8. We were very honest and just said weight is a killer and if we knew what we know now then we would have gone with a lighter Ute and lighter setup or just as a single entity. That’s why when we go in a couple of weeks we are not taking the caravan.

Just wondering if you could do a video about those people that sell everything, like you, to go travelling. What is the plan, do you budget your money out so it lasts ex amount of years. Do you also have to work along the way, what happens when you're done travelling, do live in your van forever? Very curious about the long term reality of selling everything and beyond. We would love to do that but would be anxious. Enjoying your videos, thanks for sharing 😊

I think everyone has different ideas. For us we decided that we will worry about it when the time comes. We’re not thinking of living back in a house with all the expenses and upkeep, thinking that we could always live in a caravan somewhere 😊👍 we have to work and top up the funds

You don’t make anything for ages unless you’re lucky and work out the algorithm and your videos get thousands of hits. We only now make a very small amount but we enjoy it and see it as a bit of a hobby 😊👍
