    My husband has stage 3 CKD and is recently found a small calcification spot on one of his heart valves. He doesn’t take calcium supplements. How did it happen? What can he do?

    Yikes! Spinach is not a good source of calcium because it is high in oxalates.

    Hello Dr Hashmi Great job you always do for the needy around the globe. I am igA patient. I am taking omega 3 and vitamin D . I am taking 2000mg omega 3 per day. Vitamin D 2000 mg per day. Dr can we add calcium also 500mg along with omega and vitamin D? I am all right but only protein leakage is there fluctuate between .8 gram to 1.5gram . I want to get your take on it plz Regards Azim

    Does calcium-set tofu (calcium sulphate) not count as supplementation given that the calcium is not naturally occurring in the tofu?

    Can too much vitamin D intake cause kidney or Bladder stones? I have been take 5000 IU with K2 90 mcg.
